Abstract:

Drug dependence, the impact on the growth and prosperity of individuals and society. The aim of this study was to Comparison of anxiety sensitivity, alexithymia and self-regulatory in normal and drug abusers. for this purpose, in a causal-comparative study, 30 drug addicts who were referred to treatment centers of Tabriz in the second half of 1395 were selected in an accessible manner and They were compared with 30 normal individuals as matching group. Subjects were tested by anxiety sensitivity, alexithymia, self-regulatory. The results of multivariate analysis of variance showed that that there is a significant difference among substance abusers and normal in terms ofanxiety sensitivity, alexithymia and self-regulatory and their components; That anxiety sensitivity and alexithymia variables and all their features in substance dependent patients, significantly more than other people's research sample but regarding the self-regulatory and its components average scores of more ordinary people is dependent on the material. The findings of this study show that self-regulatory can foster the ability to be used as a shield against addiction and also can be Helped to the people are more prone to social deviations such as addiction By reducing anxiety and inhibiting negative emotions.

Abstract:

With regard to various concerns regarding the category of personality disorder since the third edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, an alternative personality disorder model is provided in the third part of DSM-5. The purpose of this study was to examine the psychometric properties of DSM-5 adult Personality Inventory on the normal population. For this purpose, 278 students were selected by using multistage cluster sampling, and tested with adult DSM-5 personality inventory, Dark Triad Scale and Big Five Personality Questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire with other scales showed eligible discriminant and convergence validity. As well as its factor structure was assessed by using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The results of the factor analysis indicated that the DSM-5 adult Personality Inventory has five factors, check the reliability of the questionnaire using Cronbach's alpha, retest and splitting coefficient reflects the reliability of the Inventory. The inventory, has required psychometric properties in Iranian population sample, and Inventory can be used in studies in the Iranian culture.

Abstract:

Although severe brain injury can make people susceptible to mental disorders, there is still debate about traumatic brain injury. The purpose of this study was to compare the power of artificial neural network in predicting post-traumatic mental disorder in mild brain injury patients and logistic regression. For this purpose, in a prospective cohort study, 100 trauma patients referred to the trauma center of Shahid Beheshti Hospital of Kashan during 6 months were compared with 100 healthy people. For modeling, the data were randomly divided into two educational groups (100) and experimental (100 people). The Rock's curve and classification accuracy were used to estimate the predictive power of mental disorder. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the two groups of mild traumatic patients and healthy subjects in terms of mental disorders, and artificial neural network models have better efficiency than logistic regression models. This study showed that in order to predict mental disorder, the diagnostic indices of this factor should be considered at the beginning of the traumatic brain injury patients and then, using the artificial neural network model, predict this factor. The necessity of using this technology in demographic screening is useful in treating patients with trauma and preventing possible problems for such patients.

Abstract:

Marital distress can disrupt the mental and physical health of the individual and the family. The aim of the current study was the comparison of the effectiveness of functional analytic psychotherapy (FAP) with unified protocol for trans diagnostic treatment (UP) on depression, anxiety symptoms and marital satisfaction among women with marital distress. To this end, 45 women with marital disturbances were selected through a semiexperimental research, and they were selected in three groups: FAP, UP and control group. Treatment was conducted on 12 weekly and one hour sessions. The control group did not receive treatment. The subjects were evaluated for depression, anxiety, marital satisfaction and dual compatibility before and after the study. Analysis of covariance showed that there are significant differences among three groups. Pairwise comparison showed both treatments have better effectiveness than the control group. There is no significant difference between two treatment groups in depression, in anxiety the UT group and in marital satisfaction the FAP group had a better performance.

Abstract:

Although research on hoarding has increased in recent years, the psychological processes involved in this often debilitating problem have not been fully elucidated. This study aimed to investigate the role of difficulties in emotion regulation and intolerance of uncertainty in predicting hoarding behaviors. For this purpose through a descriptive study, 345 students (205 females, 140 males) were selected using cluster sampling method among students of Birjand Azad University and were evaluated in terms of hoarding behaviors, hoarding cognitions, difficulties in emotion regulation and intolerance of uncertainty. Data analysis and structural equations modeling showed that difficulties in emotion regulation and intolerance of uncertainty significantly related to behavioral and cognitive aspects of hoarding. The findings related to the mediating role of cognitive aspects of hoarding in relationship between difficulties in emotion regulation and intolerance of uncertainty with hoarding behaviors showed that after applying the editing Indicators, model fit the data. Findings of the study support the cognitive-behavioral models and suggest that the cognitions related to belongings play an important role in the development and maintenance of problems associated with hoarding of unnecessary items.

Abstract:

Breast cancer is a chronic disease that it’ s diagnose and treatment is accompanied with many psychological problems. Breast cancer is the most prevalent and most effective cancer in women, which causes deep emotional and affective problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the mediator role of cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relationship between self-coherence and mental wellbeing in women with breast cancer. For this purpose in a descriptive-correlational research method 215 women with breast cancer who had undergone surgery at least once in Kerman in 2017 were selected through available sampling and tested with regard to the sense of coherence, cognitive emotion regulation and psychological well-being. The structural equation modeling showed that emotional regulation strategies mediate the relationship between self coherence and mental well-being through positive emotional regulation strategies. These results suggest that self coherence not only is a predictor of psychological wellbeing, but can also significantly influence mental well-being by the use of positive strategies of cognitive emotion regulation in women with breast cancer.

Abstract:

Gray neuropsychological theory explains how the brain relevant personality trait are associated with the formation of pathological disorders. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the correlations and mediation model of cognitive reappraisal and suppression, as two strategies for emotional regulation between brain-behavioral systems and anxiety, depression and stress. For this purpose, from the statistical population of the Bu Ali sina and urmia University students, 340 were selected through multistage cluster sampling and were tested with regard to reinforcement sensitivity, cognitive reappraisal and suppression, anxiety, depression and stress scale. Correlation and path analysis results showed that significant positive correlation between inhibition system with anxiety, stress and depression and also negative correlation with cognitive reappraisal. There were negative correlation between cognitive reappraisal with anxiety, depression and stress. The path analysis model also showed strong relationships between brain/behavioral systems with anxiety, depression and stress, and cognitive reappraisal and suppression were unable to mediate these relationships. It seems that sensitivity of brain-behavioral systems causes vulnerability to symptoms of psychopathology.
