Abstract:

An 8-week feeding experiment was conducted to investigate the effects dietary prebiotic inulin on growth performance and survival of juvenile Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Three replicate groups of fish (initially averaging weight 15.58±0.6 g) were fed diets containing prebiotic inulin (Raftifeed® IPS) levels 1% , 2% and 3%. The basal diet was contained 3% cellulose. Fish were fed to apparent satiation and growth performance monitored. Growth indicies such as; final weight gain, specific growth rate (SGR), thermal growth coefficient (TGC) and net production of fish fed the basal diet were significantly higher than those fed the diets containing prebiotic inulin. However, there were no significant differences in food converstion ratio (FCR), feed efficiency (FE), protein efficiency ratio (PER) and condition factor (CF) among fish fed the experimental diets. No significant difference was observed in survival rate at the end of trial. The experiment indicated that the prebiotic inulin didn’t influence the increase of the growth performance and survival rate in rainbow trout juvenile.

Abstract:

This study is about Environmental Risks Analysis of Helleh protected area of boushehr with using AHP method. Helleh protected area with extension about 48940.82 hectares, is located at geographic coordinates of (50°, 38’, 24’’) till (50°, 56’, 23’’) eastern longitude and (29°, 03’, 24’’) till (29°, 16’, 50’’) northern latitude. In this study at the first Delphi method was applied for hazard identification in area. Also according to the field studies, interview with natives and studying the database of helleh, the couple of risks were added to the factors that were identified with Delphi method. Finally 26 risks were identified in two groups that are including natural events and environmental risks. At the next stage, analytical hierarchy process was applied for analysis and priority of identified risks. In this study, the risks were assessed by using of three criteria like severity, probability and vulnerability. With building of raeesali delvari dam on top of the helleh protected area almost 232300 m3 from fresh water of helleh wetland was layed off and only the salinity water of Dalaki River is streaming to the wetland. This can cause threaten the wetland, fauna and flora of wetland. So the Raeesali delvari dam with weight 0.116 is in preference 1. The rest of risks are in preference 2 till 26. Some ways that have suggested for control the risks are including laying off water pumping from the wetland and regarding to the hunting season, multiplicity and type of legal hunting.

Abstract:

The current study carried out to determine some blood factor levels in Benni (Barbus sharpeyi) brood stocks to achieve information about physiological changes due to reproduction and effect of reproduction on the serum parameters. Overall 42 randomly selected fishes including 24 females and 18 males ware studied. Blood samples were obtained from fishes in Dashte Azadegan Fish Culture Farm in a short time before spawning, serum was collected from blood and samples were analyzed in lab. The results show that mean values of Cholesterol, Glucose, Cortisol, Sodium, Potassium, BUN, Ig M were equaled to 247.07, 17.8, 40.9, 5.07, 139.09, 2.57, 1.46, and 62.8 respectively. The relation between serum parameters value with Sex and biometric factors of fishes were also studied. The results showed a statistical difference in Ig M mean value between male and female fishes (P<0.05) but there was no statistical difference in other factors between males and females. There was also a statistical difference in fishes with different weight and length for Potassium, Total Protein and Ig M (p<0.05).

Abstract:

This research has been carried out on the effect of the sewage of Bahregan oil industries; to evaluate it’s effecting the marine environment which is in the proxy of the site. Bahregan oil industries are located in the coastal area of Bushehr with latitudinal of 29° 50’ and longitudinal of 50°17’. From this site 235.000 barrels of oil are exported daily. Therefore our first assumption was that there should have pollution effect in the area. In this research we zoomed on TPH pollution in the water and sediments of area which is in proxy of Bahregan oil industries. For this aim we selected 13 sampling stations in offshore and 3 stations in shore. To analyze TPH in water and sediments of the area the 3 inshore stations were selected from the channel of which area collecting Bahregan surface water and leads that to marine environment. All the samples were analyzed based on MOOPAM (1999) methodology. Using FT-IR, analyses were done with the help of SPSS. From the data we noticed that there is a high position correlation between TPH concentration in water and sediments of the area. We can conclude that the source of TPH is the same in water and sediment.

Abstract:

A total of 200 specimen of two fish species from Neka River in the winter and summer, 2009 of two differnt stations were caught by castnet. The fishes were transported alive to laberatory of Islamic Azad University of Ghaemshahr. They killed by cutting their spinal cord and then measured and weighed. We found one protozoan species, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis on the branchia of Cacasian (Leuciscus cephalus) and Lenkoran (Capoeta capoeta gracilis). The isolated metazoan parasites are Dactylogyrus sp. and Diplozoon sp. from branchia, Gyrodactylus sp. from skin and the nematod Raphidascaris acus from intestine of the mentioned fishes. In this study, 39.58% of Cacasian and 45.19% of Lenkoran were infected with protozoan and metazoan parasites. Dactylogyrus sp. has the highest prevalence and intensity of parasitic infection of these fishes. According to the library investigations, Diplozoone sp. is recorded for the first time from cacasian, of Iran.

Abstract:

In this study, 281 specimens Barbus lacerta have caught by electrofisher in Kesilian River (An affluent of Telar River) from August 2008 to July 2009. twenty-six morphometric and te meristic characteristics have studied. Based on results, average of variation coefficient of morphometric characteristics Barbus lacerta in Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer were 19.38, 21.20, 22.61, 26.02 and for meristic characteristics were 6.16, 6.24, 6.67and 7.27 percent, respectively. morphometric characteristics modified and standardized before analyzing because of decreasing of error due to allometric growth. For morphometric characteristics, eight factors accounted for about 77.69% individuals of the four seasons and in the case morphometric traits two factors accounted for 70.89% of diversity within seasons. In these results it was not seen any differences between seasons by analyzing method and have highly proportional overlapping. Also, there were twenty-six significant differences and meristic characteristics between seasons (P£0.05), but four characteristics did not show significant differences (P< 0.05). According to analyzing with main parameters it did not seen any distinctions between seasons and they had relatively overlapping. There was a great correlation between length and weight into all seasons. Obtained regression coefficient (b) from length-weight relationship as well as results from determination of growth pattern showed by poulie method that growth pattern in Autumn and Spring in Barbus lacerta is negative allometric and then for Winter and and Summer is positive isometric and positive allometric, respectively.
