Abstract: 

This research, which has been conducted in implicational approach, aims at exploring and describing the longitudinal mission-oriented training in Police University. The statistical population of this study was all of the male and female alumni during 2006 – 2010. Based on the simple random sampling, the sample study consisted of 302 individuals. 4 researcher-made questionnaires of 21-item, 22-item, 23-itm, and 21-item were administered for law enforcement, intelligence, criminal, and traffic groups, respectively. Then, the obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics including one-sample t test. The results indicated that in law enforcement group the general and main courses were not compatible with the entrusted missions of I.R.I Police, however, the basic and technical courses were compatible with I.R.I Police entrusted missions. In intelligence group the general and technical courses are not compatible with the I.R.I Police entrusted missions, however, the basic and main courses are compatible with the I.R.I Police entrusted missions. In criminal group, the general and main courses are not compatible with the I.R.I Police entrusted missions, however, the basic and main technical courses are compatible with the I.R.I Police entrusted missions. And in Traffic group, the general courses are not compatible with the I.R.I Police entrusted missions, but the basic, main, and technical courses are compatible with the I.R.I Police entrusted missions.

Abstract: 

Today, the negative job stress with its harmful effects on physical and mental health of employees has turned to a common and costly problem in workplaces in a way that many studies have been devoted to this problem. In this vein, considering the fact that the spiritual Islamic teachings shape the human perception of the world in the best form can reduce the stress, and consequently, pave the ways of promoting mental and physical health, job satisfaction, and employees’ productivity. With this description, the purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Islamic teachings in the organization on the reduction of job stress. This research is a descriptive-survey study. The statistical population includes all the employees of electronic law enforcement agencies of Tehran among which 187 members were selected using simple random sampling method. In this study, the linear regression and structural equation modeling techniques were employed. The results of this study showed that the Islamic teachings are effective in reducing stress.

Abstract: 

One of the most vital and necessary bases for an organization’s existence is to be generative and productive. In this regard, planning and conducting appropriate skill training and recruiting interested and determined human resource are of great importance for advancing the goals of the organization. To achieve the goals of the research it is necessary to address the effective factors on skill capability such as training, physical fitness, personality, intelligence, aptitude, and motivation so that by desired stemming we could achieve appropriate strategies to increase the students’ skill capabilities in disciplinary field. The present study is of an implicational type and descriptive method. The statistical population includes the students in bachelor degree in the academic year of 2010 – 2011. The data collection was through the questionnaire and the obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results are as follows: the hypotheses of intelligence and aptitude were on the first priority and physical fitness was on the last priority. Based on the associated students’ ideas, the hypothesis of personality had the highest frequency and the hypothesis of training had the lowest frequency. Based on the non-associated students’ ideas, the hypothesis of training had the highest frequency and the hypothesis of personality had the lowest frequency. Given that the significance level (Sig.) is less than the alpha level (here 0.05), the null hypothesis is rejected and since both the lower and upper bounds are positive, with 95% of confidence the impact of these assumptions on students’ skill capability are estimated as high or higher.

Abstract: 

This article addresses the investigation and identification of police graceful interaction strategies with the male junior-high school administrators of Tehran to provide a preventive strategy for the prevention of crime and victimization. To do so, five components of collaborative working practices, meetings and assisting the students at risk, identifying and monitoring the students at risk, students’ participation in preventive programs, and creating a safe and healthy environment have been used. This study is an implicational type and it has been conducted in a descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population consists of two groups: 1- 81 magistrates of police stations in Tehran; 2- 600 headmasters of junior-high schools in Tehran. The sampling method for the first group was the complete sampling and for the second group 240 members who were selected systematically. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. For analyzing the results an independent two-way t-test was run which indicates that the differences between the ideas of headmasters of schools and magistrates of police stations about appropriate interaction strategies in Tehran were statistically significant. This test was verified with alpha level of <.01 meaning 99% of certainty. Also, for the relationship and the effect of appropriate ways of interaction on the prevention of crime and victimization of students chi-square tests, Kendal, and multivariate regression were conducted. Regarding the headmasters of schools’ ideas, the appropriate interactive strategies of administrators with students at risk, collaborative working based on the magistrates of police stations’ ideas, and students’ participation in preventive programs had the greatest effect on the prevention of crime and victimization of students in this interaction. The findings indicate that providing the national strategy for prevention of crime and victimization, providing the administrative guidelines, providing standards for treating the students, teaching citizenship, and conducting the common training workshops have important role in this interaction and they are necessary for students

Abstract: 

The problem and objective: the various effects of structural and technological dimensions and organizational atmosphere on the ways and rates of operations of organizations are inevitable and crime prevention in police stations as one of the police actions is influenced by the aforementioned factors. This study seeks to explain the effect of organizational structure, technology, and organizational atmosphere on crime prevention in Karaj City’s coops.Methodology: the present study is of an implicational type and it has been conducted in descriptive, analytic, and correlational method. In this regard, a researcher made and standardized questionnaire in two current and desired conditions was designed and its validity in terms of content and factor was obtained using the scholars and experts’ ideas; the reliability of the questionnaire was calculated by Cronbach alpha (a=.83). Statistical population of the research was 1200 staffs of headquarters and police stations; 300 participants were selected through stratified random sampling method and then took part in the tests.Findings: the obtained results indicate that the four dimensions of organizational structure as well as the moderator variables’ dimensions and indicators of organizational atmosphere and technology has a significant gap in the current and desired situations. On the other hand, the results indicate that there is a cause-and-effect relationship between organizational structure and crime prevention; about 57% of crime prevention changes in coops can be attributed to the effect of organizational structure, about 37 % to the effect of the moderator variable of organizational atmosphere, and about 30 % to the moderator variable of Technology. Therefore, it can be concluded that improving the organizational structure along with improving the moderator variables of technology and organizational atmosphere in the desired community lead to an increase in crime prevention at a confidence level of 95% in Karaj City coops.

Abstract: 

This study aims at explaining the relationship between the indicators of police ethical chart and the order and security of community. This study is of a survey type and it has been conducted in cross-correlational method and the most important indicators of police ethical chart and ensuring the order and security of community were analyzed using Pearson correlation test. The sample population is all of the I.R.I Police administrative staff. Random sampling was done using Morgan table and the number of statistical samples are 150 members. The data collection instrument was a 40-item questionnaire that was measured on the range of Likert measurement. The findings showed that there is a negative correlation between crimes and job violations of I.R.I Police staffs and providing order and security in community; this means that by increasing the number of crimes and police job violations, the community’s order and security is reduced. There is a positive relationship between the rule of law, police accountability, planning and appropriate management of I.R.I Police authorities, personnel occupational health, confidentiality, respect for citizens’ rights, conscientious, police service and providing the order and security in community. It means that by reinforcing these principles in police personnel, the community’s order and security can be promoted and ensured.

Abstract: 

Problem and Objective: this research seeks to investigate the role of social prevention and to clarify its parameters in reducing crimes and macroeconomic corruptions.Methodology: this research is of implicational type and it has been conducted in descriptive-analytical method. The data were collected by means of documentations and survey methods. In order to ensure the validity of the questionnaire, some in-depth interviews with some managers, detectives, and the authorities of criminal investigations for economic crimes have been administered. The sample size was measured using Cochrane 93 formula and they were selected via systematic method from among police experts and scholars (To ensure the completions of the questionnaire, 120 questionnaires were distributed and 101 ones were completed by the respondents. Then, they were set as the basis of analyses). The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics and SPSS software.The findings and results: the findings indicated that all of the social preventive indicators separated from their members have a significant relationship with economic crime indicators and the indicators of trust in God spirit, promoting religious beliefs, promoting the culture of satisfaction, and promoting the spirit of sticking with law are most effective in social prevention of economic crimes. One of the important results of this study is the prevention of criminal incentives which is within the social prevention of crime and it is a fundamental and underlying issue. Therefore, the short-term and long-term planning and policy making by the pillars of Islamic regime are undeniable requirements in this context.

Abstract: 

The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been faced with external and internal threats due to its locative and geopolitical conditions during the history; therefore, the security issue is of great importance. Today, the security issue may be introduced in different aspects of economic, political, cultural, social, and military security. When it comes to talk about national security, we must first find some ways to the threats. It seems that the biggest threat in this domain is the cultural threat, and in this period of time the fundamental question that can be addressed is that why the issue of security and its relationship with culture is important? This study has been done in a descriptive-analytic method. In this study, content analysis method has been used; in fact this method is a way in which we addressed an accurate description and in-depth understanding of the content. The purpose of this method is that we can more realistically identify the properties of the text or a piece of writing and make inferences from them. The results showed that the low public level of culture, ignorance, poverty, the vision of the people towards culture and national values lead to reduction of national security.

Abstract: 

Job stress has turned to a common a costly problem in today’s workplace and almost all people are faced with it. Along with physical, chemical, economical, and biologic dangers of work environment, job stress is considered as one of the main five dangers in workplace. The main objective of this study is to assess the impact of work, family and job stress conflicts on the job burnout of I.R.I Police staffs. This study is of an implicational type and it has been conducted in survey method. The statistical population of includes all the staffs of first and fifth headquarters of Tehran. 120 participants were selected as the samples using cluster sampling method. The hypotheses are analyzed by SPSS software using linear regression test and t-test with two independent variables. The findings indicate that job stress and work-family conflict had a positive effect on job burnout level increase of I.R.I Police staffs. It also became clear that among the dimensions of work-family conflicts, the pressure-based conflict had more effect on the staffs’ job stress increase. And the comparison between the first and fifth headquarters no significant difference in the rate of job burnout and job stress was seen, however, it became clear that the rate of work-family conflict of the first headquarter was more than the fifth one. The results show that increasing job stress and also work-family conflict lead to job burnout level increase and depression. The employees’ high-level job depression could have some negative outcomes including staffs’ absenteeism, physical and mental problems, quality of work, conflict between individual and colleagues, decrease in career promotion, etc. for the staff members. Based on this, some guidelines and strategies have been proposed for reducing job burnout rate.
