Abstract: 

Nowadays, under the pressure of globalization process, industries with high potential of competitiveness can succeed in competition with industries of other countries. Competitiveness is a multi-level Word and uses in firm, industry and national level; although the theoretical and empirical studies emphasize on firm and national level. Hence, this subject considers the concept of industry competitiveness. For representing the generic model of industry competitiveness must be paid attention to firm and national level, in addition to industry level, because the factors of firm and national level influence on industry competitiveness. So far, with using multi-level approach, effective variables on competitiveness in different levels are introduced. Then, this general model was applied in the case of Iran, with use of the analytic network process (ANP). Results from the ideas of experts indicate that the total industry competitiveness is heavily influenced by factors of national level (macro competitiveness level) and the factors of other levels (firm, inter-firm and industry variables) have no significant influence in competitiveness of industry in Iran. So in general, for increasing the competitiveness of industries in Iran, we must emphasize on the factors of macro (national) level.

Abstract: 

The aim of paper is to study the effects of creativity on strategic decision making in organization through a descriptive and applied reaserch process. Strategic decisions are among the important managerial decisions because such decisions are made for the future of the organization and its grand aims. Therefor, they are made under uncertian conditions and based on unreliable information as they have lingering effects on the organization. Creativity as a human talent, is present in all dimentions of life. It involves comprehensive devepment and a leap forward in human thought and mind, such that it is ability for synthesizing previous factors with new procedures. Concepts, opinions, hypotheses (creativities) and the cause and effect uderstanding of sterategists, determine the method through which sterategic problems are ordered. Since the process of rational decision making per se is not sufficient, it is neccessary that intuition and creativity should be used in sterategic decision making. Therefor, creativity is the fundamental pivot of sterategic decision making.

Abstract: 

Small & Medium size enterprises due to their constrains are not able to manage their financial & informational resources which is necessary for handling their international business activities. Therefore, the best way which these units can enter the international market and increase their exports are to benefit, at least in the beginning, from the services of export intermediaries. Although, export intermediaries are called differently by various countries, but they are presenting almost the same services which are of two types:1- Services regarding identification of needs and creating demand2- Services regarding demand processing and responding to it.This study first presents internationalizing theories of SMEs, and then describes the informational needs of these units, in the way of internationalizing at various levels. Then, from one side the problems and obstacles which SMEs are facing in the field of export activities management have been mentioned, and from the other side, investigating the implimentation of Export Management Co.s impacts on the Export Promotion Programs of SMEs in Bousher Province, This descriptive and non-experimental research study gathered data by questionnaire from selected SMEs in Bousher Province. After conducting statistical analysis it has come to the conclusion that Export Management Co.s can develop the export of SMEs in the province.

Abstract: 

In the present study the multiple relationship between strategic human resource management practices and intellectual capital be reviewed. Strategic human resource management practices, tools for improving and enhancing their knowledge and experiences of employees in the organization are considered. The research hypotheses with the strategic human resources management is positively related to intellectual capital. The study sample included 492 members of Habitat Isfahan University state that if a class were selected as the research tools were questionnaires strategic human resource management practices and intellectual capital questionnaires responded. Data analysis methods for statistical multiple regression, MANOVA, analysis of covariance was used and Ben Foruni. The results showed that the relationship between strategic human resource management practices with components of intellectual capital (human, structural and relationship) were significant. Members also comments on the relation between the strategic management of human resources practices with their intellectual capital in terms of demographic characteristics, there was a significant difference.

Abstract: 

Small and medium-sized enterprises are a vibrant and growing sector in most economies round the world and interesting phenomena to study. There are many factors, which may influence SMEs’ decisions to invest in e-business, and so many models, investigating relationships between them and e-business adoption. There is evidence that strategic intent of SMEs is one of the factors influencing adoption process. This study aims to survey, how different Generic Strategies lead to different e-business adoption levels. The survey is designed for Iranian Software Producer SMEs. The data was collected by telephone with the respondent being the SME owner who is knowledgeable about strategic intent. The results show, no significance relationship between generic strategies and e-business adoption levels. The relationship between educational levels of managers and e-business adoption levels is also investigated. No relationship was seen in this case either.

Abstract: 

Project portfolio management helps organizations to plan, evaluate, prioritize and select the projects as managerial new pattern. This pattern confirms achieving the organizational strategic objectives through integrated management while observing prerequisites between projects. This research has fond the main approach on selecting and prioritizing projects in alignment with general organizational strategy, with focus on some theories about strategies in project oriented organizations. It has selected the most prominent criteria insist on organizational strategic directions by directed interviews. Research finding indicates that in project selection process of the holding companies decision making isn’t parallel with organizational long term objectives and vision due to growing the size of project portfolio in long term horizon. These differences suggest the necessity of certain changes in present patterns and processes of selecting the project portfolio and guarantee to implement organizational strategies in this process successfully. This research has recreated the most prominent criteria of present models by method of problem solving, with assuming the evidences reflect the importance of strategic variable of project in line with organizational vision from the view point of decision makers.

Abstract: 

Developing strategy for companies needs to understand their external and internal conditions. The internal condition stems from the culture of the company because the conditions of the company determines which strategy should be selected. Sometimes the companies select the strategy which forces employees to change their habits and behaviors. In other words the strategy may necessitate some changes in the corporate culture. Conversely, sometimes the culture of the company affects its type of strategy. This research investigates the relations between strategy and the culture of the companies investing in the construction industry. The statistical population of the research includes the managers of the investing companies in construction industry. The research is a quantitative survey and its data is collected by questionnaire asked from 89 samples. The results show that corporate strategy is mutually related with its culture. Also each type of culture forces the company to select a special kind of strategy. In contrary, if the type of strategy is from special type of Snow-Miles typology, it makes a different type of culture in the companies’ atmosphere and it affects the cultural conditions of the company. It is the first time that a research is being done in Iranian investing companies in construction industry in the field of strategic and cultural management. This is a contribution of this research that makes it valuable for managers in the investing companies of construction industry.
