Abstract: 

Productivity is one of the main factors in assessing the optimal use of data in industrial production. By evaluation and comparison of productivity in different organizations and industries, a proper planning can be presented to improve the industry and development of the country. For this purpose, we tried to analyze the indicators of productivity in manufacturing industries by using PROMETHEE technique in a five-year period. In this regard, we assessed six factors: Labor Productivity, Capital Productivity, Energy Productivity, Total Factor Productivity, per capita Sales, Net profit margin in five industries: automotive, steel, mining, petrochemicals, and basic metals. The results indicate a more favorable situation in the steel industry. Also, in 2012 the highest level of productivity in all manufacturing industries was achieved and its lowest value was observed in 2010.

Abstract: 

Entrepreneurship is the thought and process of the creation and development of economic activities through the ability to blend risk taking, creativity, and/or innovation with sound management within an existing organization or a new enterprise. One of the effective and strong factors influencing organizational entrepreneurship is the rate of organizational learning. The main purpose of the present research is to investigate the relationship between learning organization's features and organizational entrepreneurship within the private banks of the west of Mazandaran province. The statistical population of the study includes 600 staff members of the private banks of the west of Mazandaran Province, from among whom 224 were selected as the research sample. The data were collected through the use of a questionnaire. Data analysis was done by SPSS and LISREL softwares. Results showed that the relationship between organizational learning and organizational entrepreneurship is positive and significant. Also, a positive and significant relationship was found between the dimensions of learning organization and organizational entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs keep pace with changes and attempt to discover and benefit from the opportunities created in the process of these changes. Moving along with changes calls for an appropriate cultural context and the existence of a higher level of individual and organizational learning that values and welcomes change.

Abstract: 

Wage and labor productivity are two key variables of labor market and are of interest to the economics connoisseurs on two levels - micro and macro - from the viewpoint of economic logic and policy-making. These two variables are related, on the one hand, to the efficacy of the economic secrots' decisions and on the other, to the economic growth, development, and welfare. The purpose of the present research is to investigate the impressibility of wages from the labor productivity in Iran during the period from 1978 to 2012. For the theoretical analysis of the subject, Johansen - Juselius method has been used. The results obtained from the research indicate that the impact of the variable coefficients accorded with the theoretical foundations and were statistically significant. The results show that the increase in each variable - average productivity of labor, minimum wage, educational level of the labor force, and the rate of labor force employment - causes the increase in average wage. Also, the results of vector error correction model indicate that in each period, 0.79 of short run imbalances are adjusted to achieve long run balance.

Abstract: 

This article studied the relationship between the quality of work life and middle managers’ performance. The statistical population included 180 middle managers, and Morgan table was used to select the research sample through stratified sampling technique. The sample size was 123, including 113 men and 10 women. Two questionnaires (quality of work life questionnaire with 29 questions and organizational performance questionnaire with 21 questions) whith high validity and reliability were used for data collection. The research is of descriptive - correlational type. The Pearson correlation coefficient revealed a significant correlation between all the work life quality variables and the middle managers' performance. The Friedman test ranked the 6 variables of the quality of work life as follows: the work space and work design, participation in decision making, democracy in organization, training and education opportunities, salary and benefits, medical and welfare services. The results obtained from Kolmogorov - Smimov test showed a normal distribution for the population. Finally, the results indicated that 20 percent of the middle managers' performance is due to the work life quality components.

Abstract: 

Improvement of the quality of work factor, acquisition of new skills, and identification of other factors help the organization to make efforts to upgrade itself. The present study aims to identify the most effective factors on improving organizational productivity. The research is a survey regarding its method and applied from the viewpoint of its objective. For data collection a questionnaire was used. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by obtaining the approval of ten experts and its reliability was measured through the use of Cronbach’s alpha. The data were analyzed by DEMATEL modal, which turned the relationship between cause and effect criteria into an intelligent structure for the system. The purpose of the model was ranking and identifying the indices effective on the productivity of the student welfare fund of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The results of the research indicate that the social- psychological factors have a significant effect on the productivity of the organization.

Abstract: 

One of the important items within the sixth development plan is the insurance industry, an industry that can be effective in the establishment and stabilization of resistive economy in the case it moves within the path of development and perfection. Assessment of the efficacy is among the main elements of productivity cycle and functions as a system controlling the other elements of the cycle. In this research, in order to assess the efficacy of private and public insurance companies, a comprehensive model with high accuracy was designed using data envelopment analysis. Due to considering "time" as the determining factor, the mentioned model is referred to as dynamic model of Data Window Analysis. In this research, by using the literature and expert opinion in research centers, the evaluation criteria were obtained and then using data window analysis during the period from 1385 to 1391, the efficiency of each unit was determined and finally, the units were ranked. Based on the conducted studies, three factors were considered as input, namely, total number of the employees, total number of the branches, and the sum of the assets; and five factors, namely, compensated losses, number of issued insurance cards, number of compensated losses, insurance income generated, and net profit and loss were considered as the model outputs. The findings show that Mellat Insurance Incorporation has perfect efficacy in all the studied years in comparison with the companies.

Abstract: 

The present research aims to assess the level (score and grade) of the components of technology in three industries-i.e., petroleum, manufacturing, and mining - by applying the ESCAP Technology Atlas model. In order to determine and calculate technology contribution coefficient (TCC) and its power factor (Bi), the researchers have used AHP pairwise comparison method with the components that affect technology. Finally, t-test has been used to determine the significance in the scores obtained from the studied industries, and analysis of variance has been applied to examine the significant difference in the scores observed in the three industries. In the final stage, the proposed model has been compiled and designed in two phases: a) assessing, determining, and calculating the score; b) presenting strategies to improve the development of technology. To answer the question whether the implementation and application of this model will result in the improvement of technology, the model has been evaluated through the use of simulation method and dynamic systems, and its validity and reliability has been confirmed.

Abstract: 

Performance is one of the issues that the organizations encounter. In this regard, improvement of the performance of the organization is always one of the main concerns of administrators of organizations. In this research, we have selected the individual and organizational factors from among the elements which affect the performance. For this purpose, the models which have been used include the model of constructional dimensions of Richard L. Daft as well as Herseyand Goldsmith’s ACHIEVE model. Regarding the importance of the supervising role of the accountants in controlling the expenses and keeping the state properties, in this research we are going to analyze the effect of individual and organizational factors on the job performance of the accountants in the state organizations of West Azerbaijan Province. Our statistical population includes the accountants and the employees of the financial control departments in provincial offices of West Azerbaijan and also the auditors of the Court of Audit, totalling 120 people. The sample size is 92 based on Morgan table. Since this research is of correlational type, we used Spearman test to examine the hypotheses. The results showed that each of the individual and organizational factors has a positive effect on the performance of the accountants; this means that the performance of the accountants is mostly affected by individual and organizational factors.

Abstract: 

The aim of the present study is to present a model for promoting creativity and organizational learning through using the key indicators of knowledge management success in the automotive and propulsion industries of East Azerbaijan Province. The study is an applied research in terms of the nature of the problem and the research objective. The data collection was performed using a standard questionnaire. The statistical population consisted of the managers of East Azerbaijan Automative and Propulsion Industries, tolalling 500 units. The research sample was 217 based on Morgan’s Table. In order to analyze and evaluate the normality of the data, one-dimentional Kolmogorov - Smirnov test was used, and to test the hypotheses, the researcher used structural equation modeling. The results of the regression model showed that the critical factors of Knowledge management success affect the increase in organizational innovation in East Azerbaijan Automative and Propulsion Industries; thus, the first main hypothesis is confirmed. Also, the results showed that the key factors of knowledge management success have a significant positive effect on the increase in organizational learning in East Azerbaijan Automative and Propulsion Industries; therefor, the second main hypothesis is confirmed. The results of the subsidiary hypotheses have also been presented at length.
