Abstract: 

One important concept, which plays a critical role in marketing, is positioning and in this case brand positing. In order to identify the competitive position and status of bank brands, Melli Bank (public) and Parsian Bank (private) were selected to be assessed through the perspectives of their customers. Besides, an attempt has been made to draw a perceptual map of the brands of Melli and Parsian Banks based on the fundamental concepts of the marketing science. The current study is practical in aim and survey in method of data collection. The research population consists of all the customers of the two banks of Melli and Parsian. A number of the branches of the two banks were selected through multi-stage cluster sampling. 390 customers of these branches were randomly selected. Then, questionnaires were used as research instrument to assess customers’ views. According to the results obtained from the tests and the perceptual maps, Parsian Bank was found to render a better position in comparison to Melli Bank in all the seven marketing service variables. Thus, it can be concluded that Parsian Bank is in a better position than Melli Bank.

Abstract: 

The present applied- analytical research explores and tests the sign of relationship between corporate social responsibility and financial performance of pharmaceutical companies. Statistical population and sample of this study constitute affiliated pharmaceutical companies in Tehran stock exchange that is located in East Azarbayjan and Tehran Provinces. Corporate social responsibility variable includes five dimensions: work conditions, environment, business behavior, society, local community and corporate governance. In order to gather information about corporate social responsibility and its dimensions, questionnaires are used and about financial performance variable, financial documents of firms are used. There are two moderating variables in this study; organization size and organization risk. Firm financial performance has been measured by “return on assets”. For analyzing the collected data, statistical technique spearman`s rho is applied. The results of this thesis indicate that there is not a positive relationship between corporate social responsibility dimensions and firm financial performance but there is a positive relationship between size of firm and financial performance.There is also a strong relationship between risk of firm and financial performance.

Abstract: 

In this article the relationship between information disclosure and Bid – Ask spread is investigated in capital market of Iran using simultaneous equations system. In order to determine the degree of information disclosure of firms, a check list based on accounting standards was prepared and the relationship between Bid-Ask spread was examined in 112 firms in 2007. For the purpose of investigating the relationship, cross-sectional method was used. As a result, a significant. Reverse relationship was observed in the course of our study.

Abstract: 

As part of a dynamic business strategy in a competitive environment, it is essential for an organization to induct information technology (IT) appropriately and identify its barriers. In the constant changing environment today, businesses large and small need to have a well-thought-out strategy to provide customers with the best-of-breed products, services and excellent support on a time. To prove such claims, this study seeks to demonstrate the main IT barriers in food industries of Yazd province. The results show that economic barriers are the most important in application of IT in food industries.

Abstract: 

In order to survive in the complex environment, budget programming or forecasting models have been criticized as inadequate for today’s business environment. Organizations have to use strategic planning to evaluate internal and external situation, then formulate proper strategies and implement them. The key to execute strategy is to have people in the organization understand it. Strategy map has a significant role in the strategic management due to describing strategies of organization and to help people understand strategies. Strategy map is essentially a graphical depiction of the causal model of an organization’s strategy then developing the causal model of the strategy is also important. This paper presents innovative approach to determine causal relationship and levels of strategic objectives in strategy map. For this purpose an interpretive structural modeling (ISM) based approach has been employed to strategy map. This paper also utilizes the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) methodology to understand the interrelationships among the objectives so that those driving objectives, which can affect others and those dependent objectives, which are most influenced by driving objectives are identified. It emphasizes that interrelationship among objectives isn’t only down to up, it is on both side. An actual example of a small case pipe and fittings manufacturing company provides some managerial insights into the methodology.

Abstract: 

In the past three decades significant developments in IT and communication systems in the world has caused some under-developed countries to become sensitive to new opportunities and undertake an all-out planning for their development and increase their economic and social growth to narrow their gap with developed countries and be able to compete with them. For such an aim, ecommerce has been lent too much credence specially in the small and medium size businesses. Our study here seeks to analyze the elements required for implementing e-business plans in small and medium-sized enterprises. To this end, we present a fuzzy map-based methodology in order to explore the most important critical success and failure factors for implementing e-business plan. Conducting an analysis on 61 criteria led us to the conclusion that factors like development, education and management of human resources, production timeframe, foreign relations management, communication systems and financial management are among the important critical failure factors.

Abstract: 

The most important concern for organizations, today, is the formulation and implementation of strategies which guarantees the success and survival of the firm in turbulent and complex environmental circumstances. This research seeks to propose a framework for strategy formulation in organizations. The case we examined in this paper is Mozhd E Vasl. This research is a kind of descriptive analytical. After studying mission statement, we identified the internal and external factors affecting the performance of the firm and formed internal factor evaluation matrix and external factor evaluation matrix. With respect to the information achieved in previous steps, we used SWOT matrix and internal-external matrix for comparison and adoption. After that, we applied position evaluating and strategic act to identify possible strategies. In the next step, we used qualitative strategic planning matrix and Fuzzy TOPSIS technique and Fuzzy SAW in order to rank the proposed strategies and at last we select the best strategy combining the results gained. Finally, this research concluded that seven competitive strategies have been selected, and the results showed product development is the first priority for improvement of strategy status in this manufacturing plant.
