Abstract: 

Natural Resources develop and implement action plans designed for direct contact with the forest road network development and ease of access to the deep forests and mountain areas in particular Contract. Today, GIS can be used Azqablyt large volumes of data paths in the design and evaluation, be managed in a short time. The main objective of this study was prepared the map capabilities through appropriate road forest, mountain and forest stands in Series 8 Spiroud regard to technical road forest after harvesting, and also the maps needed to identify factors that influence the cross road in the study area. To prepare the base map in GIS for assessing DEM used to produce the 3D map. These factors includes dip in the Arc map maps, directions, soil, geology, type size, commercial volume and the altitude of the region were provided with a raster format. Then, the floor plans prepared by the relative importance of classes in the range of 1 to 9 were rated. Then according to hierarchical analysis (AHP) the weight value of maps was obtained. Map data combined with weight factors in environment, GIS, maps were capable for crossing the road. The results showed that using this method, which can be potential areas for the road through the forest road in the mountainous north and identify.

Abstract: 

Present research was conducted to compare quantitative characteristics in altitude classes of, Bagh-Shady forest, southern Yazd. Three different altitude classes including class 1 (<2100 m), class 2 (2100-2500 m), and class3 (>2500 m) were determined. In each class, 20 trees were selected (n= 60) and their 1000 kernel weight, decay percentage, length and width of seed were individually measured and compared after analysis of variance. Results showed significant differences between seed characteristics in the separated altitude classes. The mean of 1000 kernel weight followed by length and width of seed was the highest in class 2 with separate amount of 50 gr, 8.4 mm, and 7 mm. the decay percentage had the minimum and maximum amounts in first and second height classes, respectively. Overall results showed that trees of second class have bigger and heavier kernels and, therefore, were the best tree for seedling rehabilitation of the Bagh-shady forst.

Abstract: 

The studied area is located in 3 kilometers far from Kaleybar city with 38° 52' 10" N longitude and 47° 2' 8" E latitude. The lowest and highest recorded heights are 1120 and 1810 m from sea level. The average annual temperature of the region was about 12.3 ◦C. Plant samples were gathered from studied region during growth period from March 2010 to near the emd of growth period in 2012 and were determined according to usual plant taxonomical methods and using of available flora references. Collected plant samples belonged to 59 families, 183 genera and 239 species. Dominant plant families consisted of Asteraceae with 34 species, Popilioaceae with 17 species, Poaceae with 17 species, Rosaceae with 16 species, Labiatae with 16 species and Liliaceae with 10 species. The study of this region showed that Hemicryptophytes with %37 of gathered samples the most dominant life froms; Beyond that Trophytes with %27, Phanerophytes with %15, Cryptophytes with %17 and Chamaephytes with %4 were other life forms. Also chorological investigation on the species of this area showed that %47. 30 of the species belong to Irano - Turanian region.

Abstract: 

Over the last two decades, many researchers had investigated the efficiency of vegetation indexes which obtained from satellite in evaluation of naturals resources, and reported appropriate correlation between vegetation indexes and vegetation cover parameters. So this study was conducted to evaluate efficiency of spectral indexes of IRS satellite in order to estimate the vegetation cover of Karsank rangelands. Scientists evaluated the role of plant indexes which obtained from satellite date, on natural resources, during the last decades. They achieved to a good correction between plant indexes with plant parameters. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the capability spectral index of IRS for estimating canopy in KARSANAK rangelands. Variety of pre-processing, including geometric correction and atmospheric correction, were performed by topographic maps (1:25000) and dark object subtraction. Data of experimental field were collected from an area about 576 ha in May 2010. The vegetation unit types were determined and sampling was performed by random-systematic method. Canopy cover was measured by determination of the area that was cover by each species and each of the vegetative forms and the position of the plots were recorded by GPS. The images which were taken in May 2010 were applied in this study. Vegetation indexes were applied on satellite images then related information of canopy cover at each plot imported into the SPSS software, then canopy cover were taken as dependent variable and vegetation indexes as independent variable to define the correlation between them, so the vegetation indexes which had higher correlation with canopy cover were selected to do modeling. The results showed that the indexes of GNDVI and DVI had the most correlation with total canopy cover and the index of PD321 showed highest correlation with canopy cover of forbs, also canopy cover of grass had highest correlation with the indexes of GNDVI, GI and MIRV2.

Abstract: 

Zagros forests ecosystem is the most extensive forest ecosystem in Iran, with 6 million hectares area, which expose to degradation. These forests are important in water and soil conservation and in socio-economic aspects. Kohgiluyeh-va-Boyerahmad province mountainous condition has been caused fauna and flora ecological and biological variety. The altitudinal range of 100 to 4000m above sea level and temperature variation of -10 to 45°Cindicate the vast environmental spectrum for survive of plants and animals. In addition to providing the wood needed for villagers and supplying fodder for their livestock, the available plant species is mostly important in providing secondary products including gums, resins, flowers, fruits, nuts, seeds, roots and leaves, for medicinal and industrial purposes. The present study was done through observations field to identify trees and shrubs species in province, to do it, with the aid of 1:25000 and 1:50000 topographic maps, as base maps, we’ve gone sightseeing different parts of providence. Then, by the maps and field visits, we it was attempted to specify trees and shrubs species. Samples were collected and pressed and dried by using the required equipment, and were prepared to be stored in the herbarium. Finally, the identification was done with the help of Iranian colorful flora books. The findings of the study proved the presence of 41 species from 23 families, with known useful applications, in which 16 species were trees and 25 species were shrub. 10 identified plants belonged to the Rosaceae, albeit, Rhamnaceae group of 3 species and Myrtaceae, Mimosaceae, Fabaceae, Salicaceae, Oleaceae and Ulmaceae groups of 2 tree and shrub species had the most applications in the fields of medicine and industry, among Kohgiluyeh-va-Boyerahmad's people.

Abstract: 

The drip irrigation systems with an ideal potential in water distribution with high efficiency, considered to be a safe way toward better usage of water supplies. In this study, the existing drip irrigation system that applied in biji Afforestation located in east northern of Karaj province evaluated based on plan, performance and management. The parameters of evaluation were chosen on the basis of Soil Conservation Services (SCS). By attention to results of irrigation water quality consideration, Trickles in this system may be clogged, so beside supervision, visitation and washing of filters, pipes, the water of irrigation must be changed. By attention to manufacturing coefficient of variation of trickles (22%) and the system coefficient of variation (16%) and comparison to the standards, condition of trickles locate between bad and useless. Pressure changes of gradient and friction in main pipes are low because of shortage and performance in level points and toward control and equal distribution of pressure and discharge must be increase the number of pressure gates. On the calculation, the value of EUM and EUS were 63.6% and 45.16%, respectively, that regard to evaluation standards evaluated week. On the basis of results of this research noticed that the system from design and performance viewpoint is not in a good condition.
