Abstract: 

Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting the final price of the E-book in general and the cost of production that has an impact on the final price from the perspective of publishers. Methods: In this study, qualitative methodology was used. Data collection tool was semi-structured interview. The statistical population of the study was all publishers of child and adolescent e-books licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Results: The findings showed that factors generally effect on final price of the e-book included the print counterparts, the stakeholders, the content, the cost of producing the e-book, the profits and sales, and finally the external environment. Also from the perspective of publishers, effective factors affecting on final production costs of e-books included IT costs, e-book distribution costs, specialist human resource on content and technology, content production costs, corporate fixed costs, and advertising and marketing costs as well. Originality: As a matter of fact, It seems that this article has investigated the affected factors on final prices of children and adolescent e-book for the first time. Moreover, in details, the production prices of that e-book which effect on final price assigned based on mentioned publishers’ viewpoint. Besides, the point question in question is that this article is so useful for some publishers which want to enter publishing of e-book and frighten of come backing profit is accounted as a problematic issue.

Abstract: 

Objective: This study identifies the dimensions and factors affecting "talent identification in librarians of university libraries affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. Methodology: This research is a mixed study with a combination of qualitative (grounded theory) and quantitative (descriptive-survey). The statistical population include 15 experts, and 390 librarians whom were selected by theoretical and cluster sampling. A semi-structured interview was used in the qualitative part and a questionnaire in the quantitative part. Data analysis was performed by qualitative data coding method with MAXQDA. And based on principal component analysis method and structural equation modeling (SEM). Findings: Effective dimensions on talent identification of librarians were identified in 6 dimensions: the central phenomenon (talent identification and selection talent recruitment, evaluation and development); Causal conditions (central talent in the university, value and position of the library profession in the university); Strategies (comprehensive analysis of librarianship job, appropriate university approach to talented librarians, development of university librarians training process); Background conditions (legal contexts, goals and prospects of the university, economic and social issues); Interfering factors (environmental conditions); And the consequences (individual flourishing of librarianship talents, library upgrades and university success, growth and development of the country). Originality: The need for comprehensive attention to the talent search of University librarians leads to effective development of university libraries. By using the pattern presented in this study and providing appropriate conditions by Higher Education policymakers and public universities, the status of academic libraries would be improved.

Abstract: 

Purpose: Provide an image indexing template based on search engines to retrieve text-based and content-based indexed images Methodology: In terms of purpose, application and type of descriptive research, there is a correlation. The statistical population included experts working in the offices of national newspapers in Tehran, who were familiar with five search engines. Data collection for component design is by a researcher-made questionnaire with 20 items by documentary method. The quality validity coefficient of the content of the questionnaire is higher than 0. 78 and the content validity index is higher than 0. 79. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured based on Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to0. 936. Findings: In exploratory factor analysis, 20 items studied in four factors with textual indexing factor loads (with factor load range between0. 51 to 0. 76), image indexing(with factor load range between0. 59 to 0. 74), content indexing (Loaded with factor load range between 0. 57 to 0. 78)and effectiveness (with factor load range between0. 53 to 0. 85). Conclusion: Internal factor 1(text indexing)with an average factor load of 0. 79plays the most important role in constructing the external factor or the overall scale, while internal factor2(image indexing) with an average factor load of0. 74 is the second most important component. In the construction, the external factor was general, followed by the internal factor3(content indexing)with an average factor load of0. 72; Finally, internal factor4(effectiveness)with a factor load of 0. 69 had the least role in making the overall factor. The fit indices of the model, such as relative chi-square and economical indices, showed the fit to be quite appropriate. As a result, the obtained model has a relatively good fit to the data.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational citizenship behavior on user satisfaction with the Mediating Role of leader-member exchange and perceived supervisor support. Research Method: The research method is descriptive correlational study. Data collection tools were 4 organizational citizenship behavior questionnaires (24 items), member exchange (7 items), perceived supervisor support (16 items), and user satisfaction questionnaire (20 items). The research population included librarians at Regional Information and Science Information Center (120) and users (100) who were randomly selected at one month's return. The Data analysis methods were regression analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. Findings: The results showed that conscientiousness variables (β = 0. 331) and sportsmanship (β = 0. 200) had the most direct effect on users’ satisfaction against civic virtue (β = 0. 215), courtesy (β = 0. 68), and altruism (β = 154). The results also showed that these variables have an indirect effect on users' satisfaction. Conclusion: Findings of the research proved that organizational citizenship behavior affects users’ satisfaction by considering the mediator role of leader-member exchange and supervised perceived support among librarians and users of the regional center for information science and technology.

Abstract: 

In current research, the role of organizational leadership and culture factors on tacit knowledge sharing among library staff in Iranian government universities has been examined. Method: The research is practical regarding the purpose, and scanning in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of this research includes all librarians (600 person), working in the libraries of state first level universities in Iran. The sample population of the study consists of 230 person who were selected by simple random sampling. Required data were collected by three questionnaires according to the organizational leadership, organizational culture and tacit knowledge sharing with 63 questions. Analysis of obtained results was performed using Spearman test and structural modalities applying SPSS and PLS software. Results: The analysis of the results have shown that these is a positive and significant relationship between organizational leadership and dimensions (group empowerment, team building, coaching, continuous self-assessment and continual performance improvement), and organizational culture with dimensions (coherence and coordination, customer orientation, Organizational learning, strategic direction and intention, and vision) with the sharing of tacit knowledge. Based on the research findings, the factors of organizational leadership and culture can affect tacit knowledge sharing. Moreover, it has an essential role on staff empowerment in conducting institutional affairs, achieving necessary skills, innovation and creativity, foresight, increasing the efficiency, constitutional unity, gaining a stable competitive advantage and belonging sense to the organization.

Abstract: 

Objective: The aim of this study was to identify and determine the features of each and every volumes of manuscripts Available at Central Library and Documentation Center of Tehran University. Method: This research is using descriptive approach and content analysis method. In this research covers issues of gender, color, and decorate the cover of your book history is studied. The study population included 1160 volumes of manuscripts collection of the central library of Tehran University the data considered random sampling using the statistical software excel and spss data analysis, chi-square tests were used to assess the relationship variables. Findings: statistical society of 1160 volumes of manuscripts, which were determined by examining the characteristics of the covers of leather used, Timaj( Bock) to 80. 3 percent given that version have been different topics In this study, the most relevant literature and 23. 9 percent with 277 cases and 23. 9 percent and 30. 9 percent, equaling 13th century history writing the most important aim of this study was to determine the decorating cover book communication history is written manuscripts. the conclusion: The result show that there is logical connection between cover design and manuscripts date of creation. hence, cover design in different in every historical period. The result also showed that there is a statistically significant between cover designs and topics of manuscripts.
