The aim of this study was to evaluate social factors associated with social health of teachers. The goal of this study was applied and the research method was descriptive and correlation one; so in terms of data collection method it is a survey research method. The population of all primary school teachers in the city of Ardabil was 1975 people and according to Cochran formula for infinite population, the sample size was estimated 321 people. The sampling method was simple random. Both standard and self-made questionnaire were used for collecting data. Social health questionnaire (Keyes) and social factors associated with public health (self-made) in which the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient obtained 0.776 and 0.834 respectively that were indicative of the reliability of questions. To summarize the data, the descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation …) was used and also inferential statistics was used for examining the relationship between variables (the Pearson correlation coefficient, as well as analysis of variance and independent T-test). The results indicated that, there is a significant difference between social health of teachers. And also there is a significant relationship between variables of social alienation, social trust, social commitment, responsibility, sense of security in the urban environment and social health of teachers, but there is no significant relation between age, number of children, income and social health of teachers. Also there is no significant difference between gender and social health of teachers. On the other hand, there is a significant difference between social health of teachers in terms of education.
