Abstract:

This paper, describe and explain the dimensions and elements of Reintegrative Shaming theory and considers the differences between Western ideas and Reintegrative Shaming theory and some aspects of its superiority over previous theories, deals with the practical and policy implications in some areas, including social, family, schools, police and court. According to the domination of classical theory and Retributive approach on the criminal justice system in Iran, domination of social and cultural policies based on individualism culture and increasingly role of government and occupational professionals in public administration, Reintegrative Shaming theory seems to be an "bezoar" to the mainstream. However, the theory's emphasis on shame and shaming, moral conscience, accountability and restoring families and communities, and the relative proportion with indigenous religion and culture of Iran, give this theory political and social attraction.

Abstract:

In this article, we study recent social changes (2010-2013) in the Middle East and the north of Africa from mass communication one by critical reflecting on the role of new media in the context of culture. Of course our consideration is pathology of the Islamic Awakening in the region. According to our narrative, a revolutionary situation is happened by axis of the pratique (action) and the events pratique is indebted to the new media’s functions as tactique. However, as the new media are intriguing the revolution potentially, so they may make a revolution against the very themselves and somewhat repress the emancipatory potential of the social movement or the revolution. Therefore, our article’s postulation is that the new media or revolutionary media are entirely useless without the revolutionary pratique (action). The subject-matter is about the priority of pratique to tactique.
