The goal of this article is to examine the view of the mosque institution in the framework of Islamic Republic of Iran’s cultural policies. Therefore, it first scrutinizes the notion of cultural policies and probes into its four-stage continuum (cultural theory, cultural policy making, cultural planning and cultural management). Due to the focus of this enquiry on the theoretical aspect of the view of the mosque in cultural policies, it then investigates the two first stages of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s four-stage continuum in the domain of the mosque (cultural theory and cultural policy making) according to the documents, cultural policy principles, the 20-year perspective document, the opinions of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader as the “cultural theory” and the first to the fifth five year plans of development as the “cultural policy making”, so that it illustrates the various aspects of the view of the mosque, its importance and its status within the framework of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s cultural policy.

The cyber space is assumed as one of the public issues the governments, public policymakers, the nations should think about its cultural affects in society. This paper answer to this question: is there any epistemological solution to combat its treatments and unwanted effects? Nowadays the cyberspace covers all aspects of our life and it fulfills most of our requirements and relations. In fact it assumed as new environment and completely new communication. Since most of the technological factors of cyberspace are from abroad, it is so necessary to think about the philosophy and value behind them. According to these predefined values we may take strategy of accept, mitigation, avoidance, interactive and proactive decisions.

The main objective of present paper is explanation of the relation between national identity and ethnic identity in Iran. This article with applying the Meta-analysis method, tries to draw an image and overview of the studies and their methodology. Sample of this article contains dissertation (and Ph.D. thesis) and papers published (and unpublished) during two last decades (1999- 2001 and 2002- 2011). Finding indicates that quantitative methods and especially survey methods are more popular and vastly applied in the researches. Theory of fundamental interaction, theory of internal colonialism, and school of renovation were applied as the theoretical framework. Result shows number of researches in 2002-2012 decade has been growth in compare to previous decade and is a reason for more attention to the subject by the experts in different branch of knowledge, but did not shape an interdisciplinary studies in the subject.

This paper deals with the explanation of national identity and the factors affecting its promotion. The main question in this research is: ”What are the factors affecting the promotion of national identity among students?” Statistical populations of this study are all of the students of cultural affairs management at Rasht university of applied science & technology that are 205 people. In this study, the survey method was used and the information was collected by using a questionnaire made by the researcher and Spearman correlation test. Research findings showed that the second hypothesis is confirmed and the first, third and fourth hypothesis and the main hypothesis are rejected.

In this paper firstly, we want to recognize the theoretical and historical groundwork of the formation of the new cultural reference (referentiel) based on its diversity and multiplicity; and then we'll show that nowadays this reference is the abc of human and sustainable development, as well. Second, we try to find the reason of Iran and EU's approach toward the convention. To complete a series of documentary studies, we have searched the EU and Iran's official cultural policy reference. We have found out that tidal and paradoxical approach of Iran has been caused by the disunity in the cultural policy reference; and the dynamic compatible approach of Europe has been caused by the consensus between the EU's cultural policy reference and the convention.

The aims of this study are the specification salience of infra-national dimensions of collective identity in comparison with national and transnational dimensions, specification salience of infra-national dimensions in comparison with each other, specification salience of cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects forming each infra-national dimension and also determining influence of socialization agents over formation of infra-national dimensions of collective identity and explanation relations existing between them. The population is selected from youth of Golestan province (15-29 years old) in 2012. Results show that infra-national dimensions of collective identity in three cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects enjoy higher salience in proportion with national and international dimensions. Family is the main socialization mechanism in forming infra-national collective identity aspects; the satellite programs, educational system and programs of IRIB are the other mechanisms.

The objective of this study is to design a pattern for factors influencing on the theater culture and determine its position in leisure time of inhabitants of Tehran with high and low income. 384 inhabitants of Tehran with an age mean of 28+/- 1 year completed a questionnaire with 80% validity. The nonparametric descriptive and inferential statistics (Chi-square) was used for analyzing findings of the research. The findings indicated that the people with higher income enjoy the more leisure time during the day rather than the people with lower income; also they may be more interested to go theater during their leisure time. Meantime, the price of theater ticket may not be considered as an influencing factor for its selection as an activity during leisure time. Finally, all people with higher and lower income stated factors such as time limitation, personal problems, ticket high price, financial problems and preferring cinema and TV rather than theater as their reasons for refusing to go to theater during their leisure time.
