Abstract:

Introduction: Combat stress reaction (CSR) is a trauma and one of the unpleasant results of war. CSR includes a wide range of physical, psychological and behavioral injuries that occur after the war. The present study reviews signs and symptoms of CSR as well as how to prevent and treatment this condition.Method: This article is written based on a systematic review, which is conducted in Pup med, Google scholar and Elsevier, Handbook of Military Psychology edited by Reuven Gal and David Mangelsdorff, Military psychology: clinical and operational applications / edited by Carrie H. Kennedy, Eric A. Zillmer and The Oxford Handbook of Military Psychology edited by Janice H. Laurence Michael D. Matthews in a ten-year time frame; with Combat stress, physical and psychological reaction as keywords.conclusion: Results show the effect of Combat stress on performance and efficiency of military personnel at war throughout different historical periods.conclusion: Combat stress significantly affects the performance of military units; therefore, it's important to design plans to control, prevent and treat this condition.

Abstract:

Introduction: Despite of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activity, America and Israel and their allies repeatedly have treated Iran to military attack. In this condition the military health care system of Iran along with other parts of Iran’s military system, should be ready to provide health care service supports. This research has tried to provide organizational requirements for improving preparedness of military medicine of Iran. Methods: This study is analytical-applicative and itis a futures study. Information gathered from: related books, Google scholar, Pub med, general databases and other released news. Population included of all subjects in the field of military threats against Iran and characteristics of military medicine. Sampling was Purposeful and propositions selected as samples. In this study information, gathered in two fields, military threats and military health care system in asymmetric battle. Analysis of data was done through induction analysis.results: Military health care system in asymmetric warfare follows from principles such as: agility, organic structure, advanced and portable technology, low organizational concentration and formalization, matrix structure, experienced commanders familiar with military techniques, changing and scattered and small structure, predictive ability and also quick Reaction. Moreover, military threats mainly focused on Iran by air and marine sectors. Threats will be blitz, short term, with flexible scheduling and dynamic operating, based on space- war and new military bases. Operation in afar and less use of ground forces will be characteristics of military attacks.conclusion: More emphasis on quick reaction, equipping modern relief devices, developing the air and marine rescue, providing secret headquarters, identifying threatened military centers and obtain the necessary preparations, improving the predictive ability, rapid response to changing conditions, familiarity with the new weapons’ harm, more familiarity with the techniques of camouflage and concealment, development and promotion of self and another one relief educations, coordination with the civilian health care system and development of mobile health centers in the South Coasts, are basic strategies for improving the ability of military health care system in facing with the future threats.

Abstract:

Introduction: The threat of chemical and biological agents both in military and in civilian is inevitable. The respiratory protection method for civilian and military people is very important when they expose to such agents. Methods: This two military activated carbon called ASC-pyridin containing Cu (II), Cr (VI), Ag (I), pyridine and ASZMT-TEDA contains Cu (II), Ag (I), Zn (II), Mo (VI) and TEDA are studied to neutralize the unstable toxic chemical agents.results: Unstable chemical agents such as cyanogen chloride, hydrogen cyanide, cyanogen bromide, arsine, chlorine, phosgene and diphosgene (because of high vapor pressure and low physical adsorption on activated carbon of breathing filter) are considered a potential threat. Added transition metals salts and amines to activated carbon, could improve neutralization of unstable agents.conclusion: There are two kinds of military activated carbon for neutralized of unstable toxic chemical agents. ASC-pyridin military activated carbon, due to the Cr (VI) has carcinogenic properties. Then its uses has been limited and ASZMT-TEDA carbon is used widely in respiratory filters. In this type Zn (II), Mo (VI) replaced by Cr (VI) that solved the mentioned problems without reducing efficiency.

Abstract:

Introduction: Regarding the ever increasing application and peaceful utility of nuclear energy resources and possibility of using non-conventional weapons, necessity of preparation for nuclear injured people and specifically in military hospitals is inevitable. Preparation of nurses as caring staff would be of great importance in reduction of the event consequences. Therefore, this paper aims at familiarizing the nurses with nuclear injures decontamination. Methods: The present paper is an overview conducted through library studies and searching websites as SID, Pub Med and Google as well as keywords including "Nurse, crisis, nuclear events" in 2000-2013.results: To encounter the great number of the nuclear events, it is required to have a precise planning and proper educations and training for nurses. Because they are the first responsible individuals in crises and the front line of relief and rescue. Morality reduces among injured people through planning and education. In this paper we are going to discuss about triage, undressing decontaminating the polluted wounds, healthy skins as well as support and treatment of the injured individuals, in details.conclusion: Nurses readiness in recognition of nuclear events has a crucial share in crisis management. Nurses must have a strong scientific basis and skills in order to take rapid decisions and to explain them to others. Hence, it is required to provide the nurses with necessity educations in various ways including long term and short term retraining and workshop.
