Introduction: Fatty liver is one of the increasing diseases in Iran and the world, and for this reason, it is necessary and useful to find a solution to treat or prevent its progress. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of probiotic consumption and intense intermittent exercise on liver enzymes in male rats with steatosis. Research method: In this experimental study, 40 male rats were randomly divided into 5 groups of 8 including healthy control, asetosis, exercise+steatosis, probiotic+steatosis, exercise+probiotic+steatosis. To develop fatty liver, they received high-fat emulsion at the rate of 10 mg/kg daily. consumption of probiotics,The respective groups received 109 CFU/ml of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG by gavage daily for 5 weeks and 5 days a week. Data were measured by one-way variance method and Bonferroni’, s post. hoc test at the level of p>0. 05 Findings: The levels of AST and ALT enzymes in the probiotic group, the exercise group and the probiotic+exercise group were not significantly lower than the healthy control group, but there was a significant decrease compared to the steatosis group (p=0. 001). The level of ALP enzyme in the exercise group and the probiotic+exercise group showed a significant decrease compared to the steatosis group, and the steatosis+exercise+probiotic group, although the decrease was not significant compared to the control group, but it had a significant decrease compared to the steatosis group (p=. (0. 001 Conclusion: It seems that the combination of probiotic consumption with intense intermittent exercise has a visible effect on the reduction of liver enzymes.

Abstract:

Introduction: In recent years, due to the increase in the use of pesticides in agricultural products and their entry into the human food chain, there has been an increase in concerns about food health among people, researchers, and international organizations. Therefore, this research aims to validate the analysis method of 25 pesticide residues in rice using LC-MS/MS device. Methodology: In this research, a simultaneous analysis method was set up to determine the amount of 25 types of commonly used pesticides in rice using liquid chromatography with sequential mass spectrometry (LCMS/ MS). Sample preparation steps were performed based on QuEChERS optimized method, using buffer extraction and purification based on the d-SPE method. LC-MS/MS technique with electrospray ionization (ESI) in positive mode was used for the simultaneous determination of 25 types of pesticides in a 20-minute run and in the MRM program. Results: The limit of quantification (LOQ) and limit of detection (LOD) for all pesticides were 25 and 8 ng/g, respectively. 30 samples of rice imported from Tehran were collected and analyzed. Out of the total number of 30 samples, 9 samples, i. e. 30% of the samples, were contaminated with Triazophos, Phoratesulfoxide, Fosthiazate, Formetanate, Fonofos, and Cyphenothrin toxins,Of these, 4 samples were higher than the MRL determined by the National Governor’, s Organization of Iran. Conclusion: The results of the present study show that pesticides were found in all the samples examined in this research, and considering the permissible limit of these toxins according to the standard and the consumption of rice in the food basket of most people in the region, it is a threat to consumers.

Introduction: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is known as a prevalent, long-term condition of the digestive system, which affect a significant proportion of societies. IBS is typically accompanied by stomach cramps and complications in excretion. It is more prevalent in females as compared to males that is basically referred to as a chronic disease. Methods: In the current study, we have reviewed and investigated on the conducted researches covering IBS pathophysiology and the genes associated with the manifestation of the syndrome. The study was performed through searching distinct keywords in medical science databases. Psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression and obsession have been reported in 80-90% of cases diagnosed with IBS. Interestingly, many of the cases have not been inspected by any physician. Some non-gut symptoms including headache, back pain, dysmenorrhea, dizziness, nausea and sexual dysfunction can be seen within IBS patients. Findings: Throughout the published literature about IBS, various environmental factors as well as the influence of particular genes have been introduced as the underlying causes of raising IBS. This study is an effort to review, assess and collect data on multiple causes which leads to IBS manifestation. Conclusion: Although no certain and definite cause of IBS was found throughout searched and reviewed articles, factors such as stresses, childhood events, previous bowel infection, neurotransmitter changes in brain and genetic alterations have been described and explained through articles. Diagnosing IBS should be done precautiously and primary examinations on inspecting organic diseases in the digestive system should take place prior to diagnosis of the syndrome. Treatment of IBS is challenging, and different ways like pharmacotherapy and naturotherapy have been recommended, but adopting a treatment widely depends on individuals complaints and their respond to their respective therapy.

Neurological and psychological symptoms (neuropsychotic) have been reported in more than 60% of MS patients that relates to medication as well as life quality. The depression particularly arises amongst afflicted individuals. The life-long epidemy of depression is estimated to affect around 50% of MS patients. Methods: In the current review study, published research articles about the genetic, psychological and other environmental factors underlying MS manifestation were searched and investigated through reputed medical databases like NCBI, PubMed, MEDLINE etc. Results: MS is an autoimmune disease whose sign and symptom include vision deficiency, fatigue, muscular system disfunction and spasm in different levels. The severity of these symptoms are not equal in all patients and thus complicating the MS diagnosis. Conclusion: MS is an inflammatory disease of the nervous system which is accompanied by the inflammation and destruction of myelin sheath. The immune system invades the central nervous system in this disease that is followed by destruction of neurons which leads to signaling disorder. Damages in axons are also another consequence of MS, which is the main cause of inabilities in the disease.
