2Introduction: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral couple therapy and analyze behavioral behavior on communication documents and differentiation of incompatible couples. Method: The research design was quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test with a control group. The statistical population was incompatible couples who referred to counseling centers in Jiroft in 2021. From this population, based on entry and exit criteria and purposeful sampling, 60 couples were selected in two experimental groups and one control group. In each group, 20 couples (first experiment: cognitive-behavioral couple therapy), (second experiment: interaction behavior analysis) and the control group were randomly replaced. Scorne and Friedlander self-differentiation questionnaire, Bradbury and Fincham communication documents questionnaire and Spanier marital adjustment questionnaire were used to collect data. Data analysis was performed using multivariate analysis of covariance and LSD post hoc test. Results: The results showed that cognitive-behavioral couple therapy and reciprocal behavior analysis have an effect on their differentiation and communication documents. Also, the results of post hoc test showed that cognitive-behavioral couple therapy has a greater effect on communication documents than the analysis of reciprocal behavior and reduces communication documents. The results also showed that the analysis of reciprocal behavior had a greater effect on differentiation than cognitive-behavioral couple therapy and increased differentiation in couples. Conclusion: Therefore, attention to cognitive-behavioral couple therapy and analysis of reciprocal behavior has an important role in differentiation and communication documents and intervention for incompatible couples is recommended

2Introduction: One of the important nursing interventions in intensive care unit is tracheal suctioning to drain airway secretions. Although this procedure is necessary and useful for managing patients' airways, it is sometimes painful and causes mucosal injury, so it is necessary to try to find tools or methods with the least injury. The purpose of this study was to determin and compare pain and mucosal injury in tracheal suctioning with foley and nelaton catheters in patients admitted to the intensive care unit of selected hospitals affiliated with Alborz University of medical sciences in 2022.  Methods: The current study was a two-group experimental study, and its statistical population was all patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Alborz Karaj Hospital in the first half of 2022. Based on the inclusion criteria, 60 patients were selected through the available sampling method and randomly assigned to two groups: suction with Foley catheters and suction with Nelaton catheters. Patients were suctioned for three days or 12 times as needed and were compared in terms of pain intensity and the amount of mucosal damage caused by suction. In order to collect data, the demographic information form of the patients, Behavioral Pain Scale (BPS) and the observational checklist of mucosal injury were used to evaluate the mucosal damage. The data were analyzed with SPSS21 statistical software and using Independent t-tests, Fisher's exact and chi-square tests.  Results: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of demographic variables. Before suctioning, there was no statistically significant difference between the pain intensity of the two groups of patients at any of the 12 times (P>0.05). But after suction, this difference in the first (P=0.005), second (P=0.003), third (P=0.011), fifth (P=0.017), sixth (P = 0.016), the seventh (P = 0.006), the eighth (P = 0.003), the ninth (P = 0.017) and the tenth (P = 0.017) were significant and suction with Foley catheter compared to Nelaton catheter had less pain (P<0.05). In the case of mucosal injury, there was a significant difference between the two groups at the ninth (P=0.029), tenth (P=0.047) and twelfth (P=0.020) times, and the number of people who suffered after suction There were mucosal damage in the Foley catheter suction group compared to the Nelaton suction group. Conclusion: Since the use of Foley catheters for suctioning the tracheal tube of patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit causes less pain and mucous membrane than the Nelaton catheters, it is suggested that an arrangement be made to use this method for suctioning the tracheal tube. Patients should be given more attention..

2Introduction: The performance reduction of proprioceptive and plantar pressure and lower limb muscles lead to balance loss. Using interventions such as braces and orthoses can assist postural control and improve sensation in these receptors. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the simultaneous use of knee braces and foot orthoses on postural control in male and female older adults during walking. Methods: The present study was of a semi-experimental. The statistical population includes the older adults of Ardabil city and the statistical sample consist of 30 older adults (including 15 women and 15 Men). The interventions used in this study include a support knee brace with restriction of knee movements, a type of foot orthosis along with simultaneous use of both of them. Center of pressure was recorded using a Bertec force plate. The statistical analysis was done using two-way analysis of variance with repeated measures at the significance level of 0.05. Results: The value of the maximum displacement of the center of pressure in the medio-lateral direction during walking with a brace and orthosis increased significantly by 20.68% compared to walking without a brace (P=0.011). The main effect of group for maximum displacement of the center of pressure was significant (P=0.003). Paired wise comparison demonstrated statistically greater maximum displacement of the center of pressure in the male group than that female group. Conclusion: Considering the disruption of balance in the older adults, braces and orthoses can prevent these people from reducing posture control, balance disturbance, and falling after that by creating a positive potential for these people.

2Introduction: Myostatin and Follistatin are serum biomarkers associated with sarcopenia in old age. But their role in exercise-induced neuromuscular coordination in old age is not well understood. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of strength training TRX on serum levels of myostatin and Follistatin and neuromuscular function in overweight elderly men. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, 30 overweight elderly men with a mean age of (64.33±1.39) years were selected as a sample and randomly divided into two groups TRX and control. The experimental group trained in a TRX training program for 12 weeks and 3 sessions per week for 60 minutes. The intensity of the exercises was controlled by the Borg Pressure Perception Scale (RPE). Before and after the last training session, myostatin And Follistatin, and neuromuscular function (Time Up & Go and 5-Chair stand) were measured and the data were analyzed using a dependent t-test and analysis of covariance at the significant level of P <0.05. Results: 12 weeks of TRX training caused a significant difference in the serum levels of myostatin (P=0.010) and variable Follistatin in the experimental and control groups. Also, the test time of 5-CS (P=0.014) and TUG (P=0.003) indices improved significantly in the experimental group. In the intragroup statistical analysis in the experimental group, the serum level of myostatin, the test time of 5-CS (P=0.001) and TUG (P=0.001) indicators in the pre-test and post-test, a significant decrease; But there was a significant increase in the Follistatin (P=0.001) variable. Conclusion: It seems that TRX training effectively improved and developed neuromuscular coordination in overweight elderly with a positive change in sarcopenia-related markers. TRX exercises can be used as a complementary and low-cost treatment in rehabilitation and nursing care for the elderly.

Introduction: Dynamic knee valgus, static and dynamic balance are contributing to knee injuries in military cadets. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the Stop-X injury prevention program on dynamic knee valgus, static and dynamic balance in military cadets with dynamic knee valgus deficiency. Methods: The present study was quasi-experimental. At first 116 students were assessed and finally, 40 participants with dynamic valgus were recruited and they were randomly assigned to the intervention group (n=20) or control group (n=20). Drop-jump test, Bass Stick test and Y Balance test were used to measure dynamic knee valgus angle, static and dynamic balance at the baseline and the end of the study. After evaluating the variables in the pre-test, the intervention group used the Stop-X program as a warm-up for 8 weeks while the control group performed its routine warm-up during this time and finally they were re-evaluated. ANCOVA and paired-samples t-test were used to evaluate changes. Results: The results showed that there was a significant reduction in knee valgus angle (P=0. 001) and there were significant enhancements in static (P=0. 001) and dynamic balance (P=0. 001) in the intervention group in comparison with the control group in the post-test. Moreover, the results obtained in the intervention group in post-test in comparison with pre-test showed that there was a significant reduction in knee valgus angle (P=0. 001) and there were significant enhancements in static (P=0. 001) and dynamic balance (P=0. 001) but there were no significant differences in the control group (P>0. 05). Conclusion: This study demonstrated that the Stop-X injury prevention program was effective in reducing dynamic knee valgus angle and improving static balance time and dynamic balance in military cadets. Thus, this program can reduce the risk of knee injuries in military cadets.
