Introduction:The changes made during old age sometimes lead to severe physical and mental deficiencies and to disability and reduced ability to deal with difficulties and common events. Psychological and physical disorders in the elderly are high due to various social exclusions, low quality of life, cognitive disorders, physical disability and physical disorders. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the lived perception of the elderly about physical health: a phenomenological study. Method:The method of the present study is qualitative, phenomenological. The study population is all elderly people of Khorram Abad city in 2019. The sampling method is "targeted". In order to collect data, "in-depth individual interview" was used. Data coding, recorded interviews, implementation, classification, clustering and organization were used in this study. Then, using the method of thematic analysis, the data collected based on the questions and objectives of the research, were categorized and interpreted in relation to each other, and based on that, they were divided into main and secondary contents related to the physical and mental health of the elderly. It was found. Results:In the data analysis and presentation of the findings, it was observed that the physical health of the elderly based on their perception, two main dimensions were extracted: physical physical, functional physical. These dimensions were extracted from seventeen main themes, which were identified for the physical component of "self-care ability, not having a chronic disease, and meeting nutritional and medical needs". In the functional physical component, these themes are "having stable relationships with others and having free time". Conclusion:The results show that paying attention to the social interactions of the elderly plays an important role in their physical health, because by creating platforms for their social participation, it increases their physical strength, as well as their sense of effectiveness, usefulness and, as a result, satisfaction with their lives. strengthens

Abstract:

IntroductionThese days, as the population ages, health and treatment of geriatric people needs increasing. The The World Health Organization (WHO) has proposed an age-friendly hospital for countries concerned with geriatric care. This study aims to investigate the degree of compatibility of non-academic and private hospitals in Razavi Khorasan in terms of the criteria of hospitals using the WHO checklist for geriatric patients. Method:The cross-sectional study designed in Razavi Khorasan province during February 1402 to 1403, with the participation of non-teaching and private hospitals. The data collection tool was "WHO Elderly Friendly Hospitals Checklist". Here, 3 hospitals of the Social Security Organization and 16 private non-teaching hospitals in Razavi Khorasan province were investigated. SPSS version 22 software and descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, number and percentage were used for data analysis. Results: An average of 32.84 was seen in the indicators of the elderly-friendly hospital. This is despite the fact that the physical environment as well as sanitary services had the highest average and the lowest points were related to admission and payment, respectively, that 94.7% of hospitals did not give priority to the elderly in the admission and settlement process. In terms of access to hospitals, only 26% of hospitals were near a bus station or metro station, and none of the hospitals had dedicated parking and a separate entrance for the elderly, and other components were also in an unfavorable condition. Conclusion:Private and non-educational hospitals in Razavi Khorasan Province are in a very unfavorable situation in relation to the criteria of elderly-friendly Hospital. Therefore, in order to provide proper care to the elderly, it is necessary to pay attention to the policy makers, managers and investors provide better care to the elderly.

Abstract:

Introduction: The purpose of old age is a natural stage of human development, which is in the continuation of the stages of development and is considered as the final stage of people's development, which is very different from other stages of life. The continuation of growth in this period depends on attention and revision in the ways of life and continuity of previous roles and giving meaning to life. During this period, a person faces deficiencies such as the death of a spouse, family problems, retirement, weakness of mental and physical abilities, loss of roles and lack of active presence in society. These factors can cause poor adaptation of this group. The current research was conducted with the aim of developing and designing a model of adaptation in the elderly. Method: The method of this research was done qualitatively with MAXQDA software. The statistical population of this research included experts and academic experts (psychology and educational sciences) as well as people who have specialized and research studies in this field, according to the principle of saturation, 10 of them were selected as a sample. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. In the qualitative part of the data analysis, coding and thematic analysis were used, and after extracting the components of the adaptation of the elderly, the intervention program of the adaptation model of the elderly was designed and compiled. Findings: The results showed that among the 22 indicators (items) available, 9 main components were identified. Among the components of peace of mind, awareness of the existing self, dealing with traumatic experiences, interpersonal trust, self-acceptance, playing one's role towards others, positive self-talk, willingness to act and pragmatism and flexibility. Conclusion: The results of this research showed that factors such as the mentioned factors are among the influencing factors of Adjustment in the elderly. Therefore, it is possible to use the intervention formulated to increase the adaptation of the elderly by specialists in nursing homes.

Abstract:

Introduction: The increase in the Older adults  population and the emergence of new needs for health services to promote active young aging reveal the need to pay attention and recognize the factors affecting their health and well-being as an important part of the society and determine priorities in this field. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the educational program developed locally for the needs of young Older adults   people in improving the quality of life and reducing depression of young Older adults   people in Yazd city. Methods: The research method was a semi-experimental type of pre-test and post-test with a control group. The statistical population was all people with the age range of 60 to 75 years in Yazd city. The sample size of 36 people was selected and randomly divided into control and experimental groups (18 people in each group) according to the criteria for entering the research. The experimental group received the training package in 8 sessions of 90 minutes, and the control group did not receive training. The research tool was the quality of life questionnaire for the Older adults   by Lipad (1998) and depression in the Older adults by Yeswageh (1996). Multivariate and univariate analysis of covariance tests were used to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that the native educational package of the needs of young Older adults had a significant effect on reducing depression and improving the quality of life (and then life satisfaction) in the post-test stage (P<0.05). But it has not had a significant effect on the improvement of quality of life dimensions (physical, self-care, depression and anxiety, cognitive, social and sexual issues).  Conclusions: Considering the importance of the local educational program for the needs of the Older adults, it can be useful to hold training courses for the young Older adults in order to improve the quality of life and reduce depression.
