Abstract: 

Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) considered the government as a human thing. He considered the presence and participation of the people in the government as the main factor in the formation and stability of the government and considered the cooperation of the ruler and the people in achieving the goals necessary. His manners (Sirah) indicates the attention to the people by the government and management and their importance in organizing social affairs. Imam Ali (AS) also considered the rule of law as a criterion for the acceptance of the government. The main question of the article is what management strategies the Alawite government had in mind for the ruler of the society and for the interaction between the people and the government, and what were the methods to achieve this interaction? This article examines the management features in the Alawite government by descriptive-analytical method and with reference to Nahj al-Balagha and compares them with contemporary international legal documents. The findings of this study show that in the Alawite government, attention to the principle of allegiance to the ruler, the ruler's interaction with the people in managing society, the possibility of error in the government, requesting advice from the people, the failure of the government if the people do not accompany, attention to social control and, in a word, the rule of law have been considered.

Abstract: 

Familiarity with the practical behavior and manners (Sirah) of Imam Ali (AS) in all its dimensions is instructive, transformative, and facilitative. The type of food and clothing as a part of the Imam's practical behavior and manner are of special importance for understanding the complete practical behavior and lifestyle of the Imam (AS). In the early sources, especially in Nahj al-Balagha, there are valuable related data that to some extent show the manner of the Imam. The main issue of the article is to find Imam Ali's criterion in choosing food and clothing. By the descriptive-analytical method, this article shows that Imam Ali, who was among the most prominent personalities of history and the most successful students of the school of Islam, chose a kind of food and clothing that is quite simple, humane, and spiritual. The reason for choosing such a method goes back to the way that Imam perceived and understood the world and the hereafter. The Imam chose his clothes and food by considering such factors as imitating the prophet of God, austerity, being a role model for others, empowering himself in the face of difficulties, avoiding pride and selfishness, and most importantly, empathizing with the needy and the poor of society.

Abstract: 

Imam Hussein's (AS) resistance to not pledging allegiance to Yazid led to an unequal war between the two. In the meantime, and about why Imam Hussein did not pledge allegiance to Yazid, more attention has been paid to the personality of Muawiyah's son, the characteristics of the Shiites of Kufa, and the divine destiny. The main issue of the research is that if Imam Hussein's non-allegiance to Yazid is examined in a historical way, what factors are more important in this decision of Imam (AS)? The findings of this study show that in the primary sources, the Imam's hope for the Kufis help or giving in to a certain destiny had little effect on non-allegiance. Yazid's personality can only be a part of the reason. Meanwhile, the confrontation between the Umayyads and the Alawites and the efforts of the Umayyads to destroy the character of Imam Ali and the Shiites is one of the most important factors in the Imam's non-allegiance to Yazid, which has received less attention. According to the usual practice of the Islamic society, with the death of Muawiyah, the election of the caliph should have been left to the Muslim Council. Thus, according to the personality of Imam Hussein (AS) and his social and political status, it was possible for the caliphate to return to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) family. While the election of Yazid as crown prince and the transformation of the caliphate into a hereditary monarchy made it impossible for the caliphate to return to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) family forever.

Abstract: 

The Umayyad and Abbasid caliphs, in order to show their innocence from violating the rights of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), always prevented the dissemination of the truth. They tried to distort the socio-political realities of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). The caliphs, therefore, engaged in historiography to direct and shape it in a way that disturbs public opinion about the thoughts of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and other opponents of power, and in return, to present a pure innocent image of the caliphs. This approach, which is recorded in historical texts, later was accepted by authors and researchers without historical and logical analysis and has been reflected in their research. This research, by descriptive-analytical method and library study of first-hand sources, has studied the traces of this damage in the first-hand historical sources of the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphs, with emphasis on the Tarikh Tabari. The present study seeks to investigate the question of why Tabari had dual procedures in reporting the life of the Ahl al-Bayt during the Umayyad and Abbasid periods. The findings of this study show that the extended report of the events of the history of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the Umayyad period and in contrast, its briefness in the Abbasid period, is due to a politicized approach in Tabari historiography.

Abstract: 

The narrative, interpretive and historical reports of the Shafi'i Al-Suyuti about the manners (Sirah) and virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) can be seen in many of his writings. Based on library sources and descriptive-analytical method, this article has extracted and analyzed Al-Suyuti reports on the virtues of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Writing independent articles about the superiority of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), mentioning the shortcomings of their opponents, the results of loving the Infallibles (AS) and expressing the position of their lovers were very prominent in the eyes of Al-Suyuti. The Qur'anic-narrative approach to Imam Ali, Fatima and Hasnain (AS) shows the special devotion and affection of Al Suyuti towards the Pure Five [Khamseh Tayyiba]. Imam Sajjad, Imam Reza and Baqī yat Allah (AS) have also been considered in his narration. His significant silence towards the honest and other Ahl al-Bayt (AS) stems from the biased ideas of the rulers and the type of religious delimitations of the Al-Suyuti era.

Abstract: 

In one of the battles, an arrow hit Imam Ali (AS) in the leg, making it difficult to remove the arrow. Therefore, it was suggested that the arrow be taken out during the prayer when the Imam was unaware of himself and is immersed in communication with God. The main question of the present article is who reported such an incident and for what purpose in the form of manqabat? In the historical study of the existing reports about this manqabat, it became clear that this report was first made in the sixth century AH and its promoters were the Sufis of Khorasan. Then, this manqabat has found its way to Shiite books through Sufism and to some Sunni manqabat through Shiite sources. This study showed that this manqabat is in conflict with the original religious doctrines and Quranic verses. It was also found that this report is inconsistent with historical facts regarding the time and place of the hitting by the arrow and the person proposing the method of removing the arrow.
