Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the Big Five-Factor Model of Personality and dimensions of perfectionism from Frost et al point of view. In this study 191 (152 female and 39 male) undergraduate students ,selected by multistage random cluster sampling method were participated. The participants were from different departments of colleges of Human sciences of Shiraz University. The Big Five-Factor Model of Personality Questionnaire and Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale were used to measure personality traits and perfectionism. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that concern over making mistakes and doubting about the quality of one’s actions dimensions were positively predicted by neuroticism. Perception of high parental criticism dimension was positively predicted by neuroticism and negatively by agreeableness. Setting high personal standards was also positively predicted by conscientiousness and openness to experience factors. In addition, Preference for order and organization were positively predicted by conscientiousness. In this study, implications and applications of the finding have been discussed.

Abstract:

The present research was aimed at investigating the relationship between marital stress and Sexual frigidity among employed and unemployed women in the age groups of 20-25 and 40-45 Years, In Arak city. A causal-comparative research project was utilized to accomplish the study. The research sample, comprising 240 (128 sexually frigid and 112 normal) women, was selected through random, multistage cluster sampling. Research instruments included questionnaire, the scale of change zones (consisting of 2 forms that measure both received and imposed marital stress) and sexual dysfunction Inventory (consisting of 12 items). Data analysis, using Pearson’s correlation coefficient, independent t and two-way analysis of variance, indicated that there was a positive, significant correlation between marital stress and sexual frigidity in women (r=.718, p<.01). Results also revealed a significant difference between marital stress of women in 20-25 and 40-45 age groups, but not between their frigidity.

Abstract:

The main purpose of this research was to study the hierarchical structure of personality by using the NEO-Five Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI). This research Was a descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included Isfahanian couples. From this population, 522 available persons (261couples) were selected. The NEO-FFI was used for collecting the data. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used for studying the factor structure of the NEO-FFI by using Amos18. The results showed that the NEO-FFI has a great reliability and validity. The studying of the measuring model revealed that the Big Five Factors of personality went to the Big Two and then to the Big One. The first second order factor, Stability, includes Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability, and Agreeableness. Another second order factor, Plasticity, consists of Openness and Extraversion. GFP explained 61% of the variance of stability and 94% of the variance of plasticity. GFP occupies the top of the hierarchical structure of personality.

Abstract:

Human Development has been defined as enlarging people's choices in a way which enables them to lead longer, healthier and fuller lives, in a democratized society. Human Development Index (HDI) has been measured and compared by three indices. A long and healthy life is measured by life expectancy at birth, knowledge by the adult literacy rate and the combined gross enrollment ratio for primary, secondary and tertiary schools and a decent standard of living is measured by GDP per capita or purchasing power parity. The above mentioned indices, which are components of Human Development Index, are summed up and divided to three. According to Human Development Reports, Iran Index has increased from 56% in 1975 to 73% in 2002.Meanwhile world average index was 0.729% in 2002. Among 177 UN members, the ranking for Iran was 106 in 2001 and 101 in 2002. Although, the HDI has an ascending trend in Iran, the three indices may be increased, while the HDI is decreased, because the value or longevity, knowledge and living level are determined by the highest and the least values of specific countries and it shows the rank of each country in comparison to the other countries. Health care managers and health staff have a key role in enhancing the health indices, and accordingly they have a great share in Human Development and improving Iran in the world rankings.
