Abstract

VIBRATORY GYROSCOPEs, having small sizes and low prices are commonly used in civil and defense industries. In these type and gyroscopes, which are translation based, the RESONATORs mass is vibrated due to harmonic forceo. The input angular velocity causes CORIOLIS EFFECT and at the same time the vibration of the RESONATOR. The amplitude of these effects are the same to the input angular velocity. In this article, the governing dynamical equations of VIBRATORY GYROSCOPEs are presented. Then, the response of the system to different inputs is analyzed.
