Abstract

Identification and classification of ZOOPLANKTONS of Hoor-Al-Azim (47o/57’- 47o/16’ N, 41o - 31o /47’E) marshland was performed from April 2011 to March 2012. Sampling was done seasonally using net plankton with pore 100 m from 4 stations in 1.5-2m depth. Collected samples were counted and identified through valid identification keys. According to this review, Zooplankton were belong to 2 families of Rhizopoda, 4 families of ROTIFERA, 3 families of Cladocera, and 1 families of Copepoda, and Nematoda. Frequency of each species was calculated throughout the study period, the Brachionidae was considered the most ABUNDANCE family in HOOR-AL-AZIM MARSHLAND. DIVERSITY indexes were also calculated. According to Shannon-Wiener index the highest DIVERSITY was recorded in May 2011 and the lowest DIVERSITY were recorded in January 2012.
