Abstract

 In this study, the metal-organic framework MOF-199 has been synthesized as hydrogen adsorbent. This nano-structure has been modified by the reduced Pd nanoparticles on the single wall nanotubes for enhancing HYDROGEN STORAGE capacity at ambient temprature. The modified compound was characterizd by BET, SEM, XRD, and TGA techniques. The amount of HYDROGEN STORAGE capacity was measured by volumetric methods at 298 K and 15 bar hydrogen pressure. The result showed that about 90% increase in HYDROGEN STORAGE capacity of the MOF-199 compound after modification by Pd/SWCNTs.
