Abstract

The study area is located in the northeast of Iran (the Khorasan Razavi province) and 28 km northwest of Bardaskan city and in position of 57˚ 46΄ to 57˚ 52΄ latitude and 35˚ 21΄ to 35˚ 24΄ longitude. The study area is a part of Taknar zone. The Taknar geological-structural zone is situated in the north Central Iranian microcontinental and it is a part of Lut block (Fig. 1).
