Abstract

The main Purpose of this research was to role EXTENSION TRAINING activities on DATE WASTE decrease in BAM Township. This study in the aspect of objective was applied and in the aspect of method was casual - correlational and for collecting information, questionnaire instrument has been used. External and conceptual validity of questionnaire have been received with collecting agricultural extension expert’s opinions and performing necessary reforms. Also for determing of questionnaire reliability, Pretest operations have been done in outside of principal society about 20 persons of gardeners. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for variable of gardeners knowledge has been calculated the field of irrigation systems to be 0.90. Statistical population of this research was consisted of 2700 gardeners that attended (900) and did not attended (1800) in EXTENSION TRAINING activities. In current study for selecting studied samples, class random sampling method has been used. Thus 90 people of gardener of attended and 180 people of did not attend in EXTENSION TRAINING activities were selected as sample size. Results of stepwise multiple regression also indicated that 31.4 percent of variation in variable of DATE WASTE decrease had explained by the variables including attendance in EXTENSION TRAINING class, visiting of standard refrigerating rooms and stores, contacting with public experts and agricultural agents and attendance in group discussions.
