Abstract

The main objective of this survey is The Analysis of Effective Factors on ATTITUDE of Farmers to ORGANIC FARMING in FEREIDAN AREAs. The survey`s statistical population consisted of all Farmers in FEREIDAN AREAs (N=14000), that 200 persons were selected according to Cochran formula using proportional categorized sampling. The required data were gathered through using questionnaires which its validity was endorsed by the academic members of development & management group of the University of Tehran and its reliability was verified according to calculating Cronbach alpha coefficient (0.76). In order to analyze the data, SPSS software was used. The study results indicated that the majority of the Respondents (49 percent) had positive ATTITUDE to ORGANIC FARMING. Results of the mean comparison (T- test) showed that there was significant difference in the ATTITUDE of farmers to ORGANIC FARMING based education, Participate to Training Classes, Cultivation practices. Also, results of regression analysis indicated that 42 percent of the variance of the ATTITUDE changes to ORGANIC FARMING is explained by 4 variables: Introduction to ORGANIC FARMING, Participate to Training Classes, education and Using ORGANIC FARMING methods and technologies.
