Abstract

SCHIZOPHRENIA is the most chronic Psychiatric disorder, which is equally prevalent in men and women. Onset is earlier in men. The outcome for female patients is better than that for male.The individuals who are genetically vulnerable to SCHIZOPHRENIA do not inevitably develop SCHIZOPHRENIA. In Stress-diathesis model, its postulation of an environmental influence, then other biological or psychosocial environment may cause Schizo- phrenia in the genetically vulnerable individual.In this Report we introduce two cases who exacerbate the SCHIZOPHRENIA after taking METRONIDAZOLE.
