Title

A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON EXTERNAL PARTS AND SOMATIC PROTEINS SAMPLES OF FASCIOLA HEPATICA IN VARIOUS HOSTS IN IRAN

Pages

  3-10

Abstract

 F. hepatica is one of the main hepato-billary tract’s parasite that have been reported  from hosts such as cows, buffalows, camels, goats, donkeys, rabbits and boars. Because this parasite that exists in and passes though different hosts, is affected by imported factors (sex, age, nourishment and immunity ability) it may be transformed into morphometric, electrophoretic and morphologic varieties. In present research, some infected samples were taken from the livers of cows, sheep and goats in slaughterhouse in Karaj, and were washed in PBS (pH= 7.4) after being transported to laboratories. Then these samples were stained to measure the EXTERNAL EXTREMITIES attentively. The results showed that  there was difference in small and large ruminants. To compare every parameter in 3 various hosts, we wed the method of various one-side analysis. Also we studied the somatic PROTEIN BANDS of cows, sheep and goats with SDS-PAGE method. The results PROTEIN BANDS related to the 3 species (cows, sheep and goats) had the range from 18 up to 63 kDa and were 7 in number. The results displayed the fact that PROTEIN BANDS in various hosts are a little different from one another. A 63 kDa band was observed in cows that it didn’t exist in sheep and goats.
