Title

NEW METHOD PRESENTATION FOR PID CONTROLLER DESIGN BASED ON PSO-NM HYBRID ALGORITHM

Abstract

 Recently, many investigations have been done on field of PID controller design. In some papers which their main subject matter is electrical machines speed control for aforementioned controller optimization with various algorithm has been used but one of the most important challenges in this field is controller design with high freedom degree. In this research we try to find a new method that can tune PID controller parameters so that more efficient results as compared to others are achieved. At previous researches IPSO and chaotic algorithms are applied for PID controller parameters such as Ki, Kp and Kd design. In all work, it is assumed that object variables have same importance but in this paper these variables have been weighted by proposed PSO-NM HYBRID ALGORITHM. Indeed in proposed hybrid algorithm six variables such as PID controller coefficients and weight of object parameters related to system response such as steeling time, maximum overshoot and rise time have been tuned and optimized instead of three PID controller coefficients.
