Abstract

Quality assessment of extinguish: powder and foams plays a vital role in their applications different physical and chemical methods have been used for quality assessment of these material such as determination of pH, viscosity, density, sludge content, sodium bicarbonate and protein content. Parameters such as pH, viscosity and density have essential role in quality assessment of these substances. Comparison of these data with normative standard data results in assurance of the quality of these materials. In this paper several physicochemical methods have been applied for quality assessment of these extinguisher compounds.
