Title

DETECTION OF SUDDEN DEVIATIONS OF A VEHICLE BASED ON AN IMPROVED FAST SYMMETRY LINE ALGORITHM

Abstract

 For detecting sudden deviations of a vehicle need to Diagnose a Vehicle. An Important Point in Diagnosing a Vehicle is to Use Stable Techniques Versus Changes. In this Paper, to Detect the Vehicle, a Symmetry Feature has Applied Which is Stable Against Light Changes. It is Also Regarded as an Effective Method for Dealing With a Vehicle Overlapping Problem. To Find a Symmetry Line of Vehicles, We have Applied a Method of the Fast Symmetry Line Detection. This Method Gets the Symmetry Line of Each Object By Using of HOUGH TRANSFORM and Means of Edge Pixels. In Addition, the Improved Algorithm of the Method of Fast Symmetry Line Detection has been Proposed. The Algorithm is Offered for Removing Errors Resulted From image Depth so that the Algorithm of the Fast Detection has not been Able to Remove it. In Order to Track Vehicles, a Kalman Filter is Applied. The Tests Indicate that the Proposed Method is Able to Track a Great Number of Vehicles on the Road With a Precision of 95.52%.
