Abstract

ORIGANUM VULGARE L. and ORIGANUM MAJORANA L. are important species of the genus Origanum which is belong to the family of Lamiaceae (Labiatae). Mentioned species were collected from Arasbaran protected areas- Ainaloo Mountain. ESSENTIAL OILS were obtained from these two plants by the method of direct hot water distilation in a Clevenger, were dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and analyzed by GC/MS.Keyword: Schiff base, macrocycle, supramolcule, transition metal complex.
