ASTROPHYSICAL S-FACTOR OF 74BE(α,γ)116C RADIATIVE CAPTURE REACTION

Abstract

 Due to the importance of 74Be(a,g)116C capture reaction in nuclear and astrophysics physics, the present study introduces the obtained reaction and calculates its potential, cross-section and reaction rate. Then after the introduction and calculation of astrophysical S-factors, we obtain a quantity with less energy dependence in relation to the cross-section in low energies range for primordial nucleosynthesis, and we then obtain astrophysical s-factor for the reaction in the energy range of 0MeV-10MeV about 0 - 0.14 MeV.b.
