Abstract

the identification of the WAVE-related parameters is of utmost importance asthe first step in the coastal structures’design process and also in the planning of the coastal regions. In this research, situation of WAVEs has been studied specifically in the southern coast of the NAIBAND GOLF (part of Naiband National Park) because, environmentally, this region is of specific importance due to its coral reefs, mangrove forests, sea turtles, and many other plant/animal species. Investigating the situation of WAVEs will effectively help studying of the coastal line variations because the effects of WAVEs on the coastal line is important due to their consequent effects on the habitats of the coral polyps and reefs. Accordingly, effort has been made in this paper to compare and validate such phenomena as refraction and diffraction in the vicinity of ASALOYEH Port using the numerical MODELING of MIKE 21 Model (SW module).
