Abstract

In the present study pollution of heavy metals COPPER, LEAD and CADMIUM on the southern coast of THE CASPIAN SEA (between NOSHAHR to ABBAS ABAD) is investigated.The aim of this research, assessing environmental factors (including aggregation of sediments, organic materials, temperature, salinity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and Ph-) and the measurement of the concentration of heavy metals (COPPER, LEAD and CADMIUM) in the study area has been the possibility of greater understanding of the environmental conditions of THE CASPIAN SEA and the status of pollution in THE CASPIAN SEA.A sampling of the sediments of the substrate using 1.0 square meters, Wayne van garb in the spring and 20 radio stations (over 5 transects, each containing 4 stations) from the depths of 5, 10, 15 and 20 meters of THE CASPIAN SEA in the contour of NOSHAHR so ABBAS ABAD. Geographical coordinates of the station are determined and recorded by the GPS device. Environmental factors including the depth, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and p-HP using the CTD during the sampling device, and a concentration of heavy metal with atomic absorption spectrometry were measured in the laboratory. The average temperature of the adjacent water bed (7.22-6.21)oc, salinity, dissolved oxygen 41.10 5.7 part in a thousand, electrical conductivity and 59.18 -HP 41.8. The average concentration of COPPER in the station every 20 82.3 mg kg, the average concentration of CADMIUM metal 81.1 mg kg and the average concentration of LEAD metal 49.14 mg kg was calculated. Three metal concentrations were below international standards. The average percentage of organic matter in different sampling sites and the 20.9 percent average organic matter content were measured. Analysis of sediment grain size, grain showed fine (clay and silt) at sampling stations was THE CASPIAN SEA.
