Abstract

almond is one of fruit trees intemperate zones, and resistant against the drought conditions. The almond is as trees in which these conditions are accumulated and can be obtained a suitable yield with correct management of it. On the other hand, due to having put Iran in the area of semiarid and dry weather, close to 50 percent of the agricultural cultivation to different degrees of bearing with the problem of being alkaline face fitted. In these areas, chlorosis is one of the obstacles to the production of crops. chlorosis after drought and salinity is the most important and most common environmental stress at the world including Iran. Therefore, the factorial experiment in completely randomized design with two factors genotype in 11 levels and amount of irrigation water, bicarbonate on 3 levels with three replications in order to investigate the effect of different levels of potassium bicarbonate on developmental characteristics of selected cultivars of almond, on the GF677 rootstock and selection of the most tolerant of graft combinations. Cultivars included Tuono, Nonpareil, Mamaee, Shokofeh, Sahand, Azar, A200, A230 and 7-9 on GF677 and the GF677 (not graft as control) and potassium bicarbonate factor consists of 0 (control), 15 and 30mMpotassium bicarbonate. The results of this study showed that, with the increasing concentration of potassium bicarbonate in the water of irrigation, % nitrogen, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, and the content of zinc and iron was reduced and necrotic leaves increased but the rate of increase or decrease in the traits measured in the between cultivars together showed significant differences. In total the traits measured showed that Sh12 anymore and then the cultivars of the A230 and Shokofeh as the most tolerant cultivars and Sahand, 7-9 as the most susceptible cultivars in the high potassium bicarbonate concentrations were detected. Also, Sh12, A230 and Shokofeh could well tolerant in 15 mg potassium bicarbonate concentration in irrigation water. Also Sh 12 30 mM potassium bicarbonate concentration partly would tolerant in the water of irrigation. As well as the results of this study showed that the type of a scion in increase the resistance the rootstock of GF677 to the high concentration of potassium bicarbonate was effective. Most scions (except Sahand and 7-9), has more resistance to high concentrations of potassium bicarbonate in comparison with non-graft rootstock.
