Abstract

 IN THIS PAPER, THE PHASE DERIVATIVE DISTRIBUTION IS CALCULATED ON THE CROSS SECTION OF OPTICAL FIBER PERFORM, USING TRANSPORT EQUATION OF PHASE AND INTENSITY. THEN, THE RADIAL REFRACTIVE INDEX PROFILE IS EVALUATED BY THE INVERSE ABEL INTEGRAL. THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS OF A EXAMINED SAMPLE HAVE SHOWN THAT THE REFRACTIVE INDEX PROFILE HAS THE ACCURACY OF %5.
