PREDICT THE THERMAL POWER PLANT GENERATION BY REGRESSION MODEL

Abstract

 USING MULTIPLE REGRESSION MODELS MAKE POSSIBLE TO FIND RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE VARIOUS VARIABLES AND THE RESPONSE VARIABLE (OBJECTIVE VARIABLE). THESE MODELS DEMONSTRATE THE EFFECTS OF THE VARIABLES ON THE OBJECTIVE VARIABLE, SIMULTANEOUSLY, SO WHICH IS USED EXTENSIVELY IN ALL FIELDS OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE. IN OTHER WORDS, THE MULTIPLE REGRESSION MODELS MAKE POSSIBLE TO PREDICT THE RESPONSE VARIABLE (OBJECT) BASED ON SEVERAL INDEPENDENT VARIABLES, AND FIND THE TYPE AND PROPORTION OF INFLUENCE OF EACH VARIABLE AS DIRECT OR INVERSE. IN THIS PAPER, THE RANDOM SAMPLES OF HORMOZGAN THERMAL POWER PLANT GENERATION IN SEPTEMBER 2014 AND SEVERAL AFFECTIVE VARIABLES ON THE GENERATION OF THE 2TH THERMAL UNIT WERE SELECTED TO FIND THE INFLUENCE OF EACH VARIABLE ON THE GENERATION. ALL HYPOTHESIS TESTING, ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE AND ESTIMATION OF PARAMETERS IN THE MODEL HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED BY USING THE R SOFTWARE ON 0.05 ERROR LEVEL (ALPHA LEVEL).
