Abstract

OXIDATIVE COUPLING OF METHANE WAS STUDIED OVER TRIMETALLIC CATALYST CONTAINING MN, W AND ALKALI ION OVER SIO2 AS SUPPORT UNDER FIXED BED CONDITION WITH CH4/AIR=1, CH4/O2=5 FEED FLOW RATE OF 140 ML/MIN (STP) AND GHSV=13200 ML/GCAT. THE AIM OF RESERCH IS ATTAINING A CATALYST WITH HIGH ACTIVITY-SELECTIVITY. ROLE OF THE SUPPORT POROSITY ON THE CATALYST PERFORMANCE WAS STUDIED. THIS IS RESEARCHED BY SELECTION OF POROUS SIO2 AND QUARTZ AS SUPPORT.
