Abstract

 IN THE LAST TWO DECADE, DENDRITIC POLYMERS (INCLUDING MONODISPERSE DENDRIMERS AS WELL AS POLYDISPERSE HYPERBRANCHED POLYMERS) HAVE DRAWN MUCH ATTENTION AND GAINED INTENSIVE RESEARCHES IN BOTH INDUSTRIAL AND ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES DUE TO THEIR POTENTIAL IN SEVERAL APPLICATIONS SUCH AS SEPARATION PROCESSES IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING FIELD REGARDING TO THEIR UNIQUE CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES. IN THIS STUDY OUR PURPOSE IS INVESTIGATION AND PREDICTION LIQUID-LIQUID EQUILIBRIUM OF SYSTEMS CONTAIN HYPERBRANCHED POLYMER + SOLVENT BY THERMODYNAMIC MODEL BASED ON GROUP CONTRIBUTION METHOD, UNIFA-FV, AND CONSIDERING AN ASSOCIATION TERM IN CALCULATIONS OF MODEL.
