Abstract

THIS INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN DONE IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY AND STUDY SOME BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FISHES IN THE ARASBARAN RESERVOIR IN EAST AZERBAIJAN PROVINCE IN THE SUMMER OF 2010. FOR THIS PURPOSE, 8 STATIONS WERE SELECTED IN RESERVOIR AND ITS ONLY TRIBUTARY (SELIN-CHAY) AND THE FISHES WERE CAUGHT WITH GILL-NETS (30 TO 80 MM), 6 MM MESH SIZE SEINE AND ELECTROFISHING GEAR, TOO. ...
