Abstract

Unfortunately, Iran has not attained a deserving position in the Tourism industry in spite of its capacities in this field, and for the most part it is due to the weak advertising industry in tourists' attraction. Regarding the very rich capacities of Abouzeid Abad tourist area in this industry, with a proper IT platform and expansion of supply and demand of Tourism products through advanced technology, it can bring changes in Tourism industry of this area. This study aims to investigate the role and effect of information technology on the attraction of domestic tourists. The study is based on descriptive survey method and the data were collected via questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted in SPSS software V18 and the reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha method of SPSS software V18. According to the analysis, all the components were greater than 0. 8. The results indicated that variables such as Internet advertising, websites, radio and TV advertising programs, Satellite advertising programs and Cyberspace had a positive impact on the attraction of domestic tourists, and among these components, virtual space has the greatest amounts of impacts.
