Abstract

The rapid advancement of computing technologies has simplified the implementation of Artificial intelligence programs in education. Artificial intelligence in education refers to the use of Artificial intelligence technologies or applications in educational environments to facilitate teaching, learning and decision making. With the help of Artificial intelligence technology, which simulates human intelligence for inference, judgment, and prediction, computer systems can provide guidance, support, or personal feedback to students, teachers, and policymakers in making decisions. Although Artificial intelligence in education is recognized as a research topic in the field of computers and education, its interdisciplinary nature is a unique challenge for researchers in a variety of disciplines. The present basic research has been done using the library method and has a promotional scientific nature. This research presents the definition and role of Artificial intelligence research in education from the perspective of educational needs and proposes a framework for expressing considerations for the implementation of Artificial intelligence in education in different learning and educational environments. This framework can assist computer science and education researchers in conducting research on Artificial intelligence in education. Also, 10 special research topics in the field of Artificial intelligence in education are presented to guide future research.
