Abstract

The use of oaths has long been popular among the people and they use it when necessary. This structure has many uses in the Qur'an and is mentioned at the beginning and middle of the surahs. Due to the variety of oath structures in the Qur'an, researchers and translators have paid special attention to its types and functions. The present study, while using different Interpretations, finds the Equivalence of the structures of the oaths of the chapters of Qalam, Haqqa, Muddaththir, Mursalat, Tin and Yas with descriptive-analytical method and critical approach in the Translations of Mr. Faizul Islam, Meshkini, Khorramshahi, Rezaei.-Isfahani and Moezzi have reviewed. The result of the research shows that Moezzi provided a literal Translation of the verses and translated structures such as "فلا اقسم" in a negative way, which is a weak promise from the point of view of the commentators. He has avoided adding and specifying references to pronouns, and this approach has sometimes obscured his Translation. In general, Feyz al-Islam and Rezaei Esfahani, as representatives of free and loyal styles, have provided a more accurate Translation of the structures of the oath, and better than other translators, they have equated the emphases of the style of the oath, such as "In and L", with reference. The pronouns are specified and the proportions between the parts are observed. Meshkini and Khorramshahi have also provided intermediate Translations of Feyz al-Islam, Rezaei-Isfahani, and Moezzi.
