Abstract

Background and aims: during the old age; Elderly, due to physical and mental issues, are faced variety of different challenges; while facilities and maintenance cares have significant role in reducing these challenges. The aim of this research is to recognize and explain Sociological factors of Elderly care management in Rasht city. Methodology: The research is qualitatively type and grounded theory has been employed. Using purposive sampling method our data was satured after 14 reviews. We have used semi-structured tool to gather data, Analysis of data based on Corbin and Strauss approach in triplicate coding; Open, pivotal and selective. Findings: The data has been analyzed after three steps coding, it led to make four main categories including: casual conditions, underlying conditions, appropriate strategies and welfare consequences of the aged, and “ social welfare of the Elderly” has been founded as the central conception of the research. Conclusion: Paying attention to social welfare of the Elderly can help them and people who are their around, passing this era easily. The outcomes of such idea can lead to increase elders’ participation in society actively and follow being effective home care, development of services and enrichment of care facilities.
