Abstract

 Background and Aim: The aim of this study was to provide a Background theory and design a process model of Police skills training with emphasis on professionalism-a case study of Isfahan FAA. In today's society, having a smart, professional and scientific Police is a basic need. Therefore, one of the important priorities in curriculum and educational planning is the use of up-to-date and specialized knowledge in related skills and specialized training in the field of Police missions. Method: The present study was a qualitative theory based on the model of Strauss and Corbin. The statistical population included all specialists in the field of education and law enforcement commanders in Isfahan province, which was interviewed with 16 people based on purposive sampling. In order to collect data from the interview method and data analysis was performed using the coding method in three levels of coding: interval, axial and selective. Findings: The results of this study showed that Police skills training increases Police productivity, job satisfaction, community satisfaction and security, community control, self-control skills, communication health and media literacy. There are four components (causal conditions; learning methods, contextual and professional conditions). Conclusion: In order to improve the professional and scientific skills of the Police, the first step is to pay attention to the causal conditions, which include motivational factors such as attitude towards education, job interest, learning motivation, self-efficacy, and promotion and encouragement system. The second step is to use methods that make the learning process with the highest quality and fastest time possible, including coaching; Peer training; Simulated workplace; Workplace learning; Situational learning; Crime scene reconstruction; Working communities; Educational scenarios, empirical learning and independent learning are important and in addition to the factors that affect the methods and can facilitate or hinder its effectiveness, under the heading of general conditions and general conditions in the scientific and specialized training of Police.
