Background and purpose: Today, using the knowledge and experiences of other countries using the comparative study method can significantly contribute to the progress and development of police sports programs. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of identifying and analyzing the training sports programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police in comparison with selected countries.
Method: The method of this research is practical in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection using a comparative study with the approach of George Brady (1969). The statistical population of the research included the Islamic Republic of Iran and 10 countries, England, Canada, the Netherlands, America, Australia, Germany, Italy, China, and South Korea.
Findings: By comparing the countries included in the research, from the point of view of the duration of training in the police of the countries where the training is in four years, from the perspective of the percentage of the duration of physical fitness activities to the duration of the training, 0.16, in terms of the most important sports, shooting , athletics, swimming and judo, in terms of the most important factors of physical fitness, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance, muscular strength and speed, in terms of the number of physical fitness tests, once and twice a year and in terms of the most important activities done, providing individual and group sports programs for police students, has received the most points.
Conclusion: The educational sports programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police need a fundamental revision in some parts. Therefore, it is suggested that by modifying the police sports programs, the effectiveness and efficiency of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police will be improved in line with the physical and mental health of the employees, also improve organizational missions.
