BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Short-Chain L-3 Hydroxyacyl-CoA Dehydrgenase deficiency may be presented in years after birth and sometimes lead to patients mortality. According to importance of nonspecific symptoms of disease and early progression that due to patient's life-threatening we decided to report clinical and biochemical manifestation of patient with SCHAD deficiency and with symptom of cardiac involvement.CASE: A 15 year old child with respiratory distress and loss of consciousness was admitted to the PICU. Patients had a history of intermittent vomiting and early fatigue during normal activity from 2 years ago. The development had been normal until now. Lab data revealed severe metabolic acidosis and in echocardiography hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, due to previous dilated cardiomyopathy with EF: 25-30% and severe dysfunction of both ventricles were reported. The patient was intubated on the second day of admission due to bradycardia and deteriorating the level of consciousness and he died on the third day of admission due to cardiopulmonary arrest. Finally, according to the high levels of 3-Hydroxy Butyryl Carnitine or (C4-OH) metabolic disease (SCHAD) was diagnosed.CONCLUSION: Symptoms of metabolic disease can be seen with dilatory in infant with normal development. Because of the low recognition of symptoms particularly cardiac involvement, delay in diagnosis can be life threatening.

The objective in traditional scheduling is usually time based. Minimizing the makespan, total flow times, total tardi costs, etc. are instances of these objectives. In manufacturing, processing each job entails a cost paying and price receiving. Thus, the objective should include some notion of managing the flow of cash. We have defined two new objectives: maximization of average and minimum available cash. For single machine scheduling, it is demonstrated that scheduling jobs in decreasing order of profit ratios maximizes the former and improves productivity. Moreover, scheduling jobs in increasing order of costs and breaking ties in decreasing order of prices maximizes the latter and creates protection against financial instability.

The objective of this study is to evaluate changes in the level of cash holdings in response to corporates’ cash flows. For this, using financial information of a sample consisting of 118 companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange in the period 2006-2011, the sensitivity of cash flows of cash holdings was studied, regarding three aspects of: cash flows types (positive or negative), financial constraints, and external monitoring. This study is an applied research and takes regression method of panel data to test hypotheses.The findings showed that there was no difference in the cash flow sensitivity of cash in the two cases that companies face with a positive or a negative cash flows. Also, there was no difference between the cash flow sensitivity of cash in the cases of financially constrained and financially unconstrained. Additionally the findings showed that for the companies with stronger external monitoring the cash flow sensitivity of cash was not greater than that for the other companies.

The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between managerial overconfidence with firm cash holding and also examine the effect of managerial overconfidence on the changes in the level of cash holdings in response to corporates’ cash flows (cash-flow sensitivity of cash) using a sample of 127 (762 firm - year observations) firm listed on Tehran stock exchange between 2010 to 2015. The panel data was used to test the hypothesis. The findings of this research indicates a positive significant relationship between the managerial overconfidence with cash holding. Also findings show that managerial overconfidence have significant positive effect on cash-flow sensitivity of cash. In other words, overconfidence manager save more cash out of their current cash flow. These findings in accordance with the idea that overconfidence managers views future external financing as excessively costly and try to hold more cash for financing investment projects.
