Importance and significant role of the media discourse in general, and newspapers, in particular, on awareness, as well as directing and shaping public opinion is clear for every individual. In the second chapter of the press law that is related to the mission of the press; one of the missions is "To enlighten public opinion and raising the level of their knowledge". This paper examines the level of awareness, clarity of expression (explicitation) or vice versa, implicitation in some literary texts within the framework of the analysis of critical discourse of Norman Fairclough. Discourse-oriented structures of these texts include nomenclature and references, metaphors, irony and allegory. Data examination of this paper suggests that the application of the three components of metaphor, irony and allegory in the texts leads to the explicitation and implicitation. Regarding the manner of application, nomenclature and reference component can be resulted in the explicitation or implicitation and the fact that the newspapers describe the events based on their own views, ideologies and intended targets.

As a discourse construction procedure, implicitation is one of the basic issues in pragmatic studies of translation and one of the problem-solving strategies in translation discourse. Since discourse markers are the central elements in monitoring discourse, the implicitation of their forms and functions is a critical phenomenon requiring further investigations. The present researcher’s objective in this study was the analysis and exploration of different manifestations and indexes of implicitation in monitoring discourse by the simultaneous interpreter to provide and design an analysis model in this pragmatic area. Translation potting in translatology and coherence in discourse analysis founded the theoretical bases of this investigation. Moreover, the analysis of parallel corpora was done by utilizing two models: an inventory of discourse markers in discourse analysis and an implicitation framework in translation studies. The results revealed that this Iranian simultaneous interpreter applied implicitation in 29% of the cases to solve his problems in his pragmatic efforts in the creation of discourse in translation. In addition, the analysis of his pragmatic strategies resulted in the exploration of a rectangular model in the implicitation of discourse markers: structural generalization, lexical reduction, lexical omission, and cultural-pragmatic awareness of audience discourse. Consequently, applying the strategies of this model substantiated this Iranian simultaneous interpreter’s creative discourse monitoring through implicitation. Finally, different implications in the areas of translation studies and education were analyzed and suggested.

French: Cette é tude descriptive et analytique cherche à savoir si une partie de l’ incompré hension du franç ais chez les locuteurs é trangers de cette langue est due à la pré sence des implicites ainsi qu’ aux fonctions discursives diffé rentes de l’ implicitation. Pour ce faire, nous nous attardons spé cialement sur les sketches de Gad Elmaleh et Jamel Debbouze, humoristes et acteurs franç ais d’ origine maghré bine. Nous commenç ons par aborder les contenus implicites selon Oswald Ducrot et Catherine Kerbrat-Orecchioni et essayons de voir ensuite comment les contenus implicites se trouvent logé s dans les sketches humoristiques. Nous tentons d’ examiner les contenus implicites pré sents dans les discours comiques des humoristes susmentionné s afin de montrer la caté gorie implicite à laquelle ceux-ci appartiennent. Ce qui nous a permis de dé gager les principales caracté ristiques du one-man-show en tant que genre. Aussi, nous avons vu en quoi ce genre pourrait offrir l'occasion d'une activité didactique dans les cours du FLE, à partir de l'implicite.

Creative translation through the concept of trans-compatibility is an interpretive and conceptual approach that should be viewed from the pragmatic perspective. Lance Hewson, a prominent theorist in this regard, suggests that translation faces many challenges, especially when the translator tries to recreate meaning. The challenges may be recognized through pragmatic markers. Hewson introduced the markers with structural patterns in the form of compatibility reflections, through such components as homologous issues, artificial extensions, and expression change. Moreover, he introduces the linguistic patterns in the form of explicitation, implicitation, and description. He believes that the conceptual representation of each linguistic component is connected with the detailed and exact analysis and equalization of each component. Taking Hewson’s creative translation model and a descriptive-analytical approach, this study explored all of the markers in the translation of Ghassan Kanafani’s (2013) A Bridge to the Eternity, published in the collection Plays by Faroogh Najm al-Din (2023). Taking into account the mysterious writing style of Kanafani the translator of A Bridge to the Eternity has tried to recreate the proverbs, idioms, and linguistic metaphors. It was proved that characterization played a significant role in the recreation. Here the existing mysterious language of the translation has represented the mentioned linguistic components; that is, it shows the exact image of socio-political conflicts that dominated the culture and ideology of characters in linguistic context. Considering the results, it can be said that compating Hewson's trans-compatibility markers could yield results in the communication structure of this play.
