Statistical surveys indicate that during 2000‐10, casualties, physical harms and traffic‐ related financial harms in Iran were among the highest in the world. The present study aims at reviewing the role of Islamic Republic of Iran Police (IRIP) interaction with education and training system to improve traffic order and safety culture in the country. The research was quantitative and qualitative.Quantitative and qualitative sections were performed respectively through descriptive‐survey and content analysis method. Statistical population included traffic training experts. Ninety experts as the available sample completed the research questionnaire. The experts involved were among staff whose decision makings affect the whole traffic and education system in Iran. Tools used for collecting data were interview, documents, content analysis and questionnaire.15 initial questionnaires were distributed among experts familiar with the face and content validly in research, and The validity was calculated through Cronbach's alpha coefficient (a=0.94). In order to analyze the data in the quantitative section of the research, some indices of descriptive statistics including mean, t‐test, and level of significance, maximum and minimum were used while in the qualitative section, content analysis method was used for classifying the data. In addition, data prioritization in each field was performed based on the weight level Results of the research indicated that software, hardware, structure, theoretical training, and practical training were effective in the interaction between IRIP and education and training system. All these 5 factors improve traffic culture in terms of knowledge affection and behavior.
