One of old and permanent questions in political thoughts is about the relationship between morality and policy. Thinking and discussing about this question resulted to different attitudes. Some of thinkers believe that using political power is not suitable with obeying the moral rules therefore no goal even "Justice" is achievable without applying political power. In the opposite side some other thinkers believe that moral principles themselves are so venerable that should constantly control declinations of people having political power. So policy is worthless unless it’s controlled.This article is about to analyze this question in the thought and action of Imam Sajjad and finally offer an appropriate solute on to it.

Islamic jurisprudence is now faced with the question whether the capacity to respond to social and political issues of the day to be able to support Islamic ruleis legal? Showing the fabric of Locke's Liberalism in Two Treatises of Government, this paper focuses on three philosophical, historical and philosophical- historical approaches in Lockean political studies, to investigate and justify the contradictions in Lockean scholarship. In other words, the present article investigates the historical contexts of Locke’s political theorization; examining how and what extent, his fairly long in the administration of British colonization in "New World" and the internal civil, political strife and religious disputes have influenced or possibly determined the various components of his political theory. This paper is also to answer the question, how religious and domestic disputes, and British colonial lands and the plantations, influenced Locke's Janusian face and his liberalism.

The advent of Islamic Awakening in vast parts of Arab world which ended in government change in countries such as Tunisia, Egypt and Libya in northern Africa and Yemen in western Asia was a resultant of different political, cultural, social and economic problems lying inside these societies which immediately after a small sparkle started penetrated inside the government body and in a short time ended in these kingdom-like governments. Regarding the reasons for Islamic Awakening occurrence in northern Africa multiple reasons have been mentioned, but they have not been studied together much. In this article using the analysis and description method, the researcher has tried to study the active and effective main factors on the process of changes known as Islamic awakening (Arab spring) as the main question.

Undoubtedly, Constitutional Revolution one of the most influential and Constitutional complex events in the modern history of Iran. Apart from these effects, the fields are always many questions about the emergence and success (at least in the Revolution) has been existed. This study pursuing new view to survey the Constitutional Revolution based on Johnson model and its adaptation with this Revolution. According to this model, the change in the value and environmental resources in Qajar society and their role in creating the disequilibrium in the social order, and then to evaluate the performance of elite accelerators in the process will be discussed. Also, positive and negative aspects this adaptation will be considered along with the use of the model in the study, the shortages and limitations of this work are noted. It seems that this model does not fully implement to the Constitutional Revolution and have some shortages. As a result, at parts of it need tobe modified in order to generalizability to explain this historical phenomenon.

As an indicator of the general conditions of research and publication in International Relations in Iran, this article has taken the articles published in the Journal of Faculty of Law and Political Science (JFLPS), the University of Tehran. As the oldest academic journal in the field of Political Science and International Relations in Iran, the articles published by JFLPS can give a portrait of what has been going in the field during the last four decades. The articles published in this journal from1970 to 2011 have been studied in two major aspects: scholarship and scholars’ characteristics. The findings show how scholars/authors are distributed in terms of academic position, gender, degree, institutional affiliation, and departments. They also show the distribution of various issues, geographical locations, methods, and types of articles. Some hypotheses are suggested to explain the findings and some institutional modifications have been proposed to improve the existing conditions of publication in the field.

One of the most important concepts in IR literature is anarchic international system proposed by Kenneth Waltz in his theory of "structural realism". Anarchic international system, which is composed of a structure and interacting units, determines the character of actor's behavior. Waltz argues this is a stable system is stable, that the only way to change it is to make changes in its ordering principle and distribution of capabilities. Here, however, the author believes that, contrary to Waltz, the anarchic international system changed into regulatory international system, because of changes in the units as well as regulation of activity within the international community.

This paper primarily seeks to address a description of a form of the development experience that its key feature is the central role of the state with high institutional prospect and capacity to orient the country toward development.Meanwhile, the main focus is based on the successful experience of developmental government which was formed after the Second World War in East Asia. However, the economic crisis of 1997 led to the serious doubts about the success. So that some spoke of the death of developmental states. Especially, this crisis is analyzed in relation to the globalization and structural change resulting from it. In this paper based on an analysis of the nature of globalization, It has been argued that not only the possibility of the emergence of developmental states have not gone away but also provide new area’s for states role in development. But it is natural that the "Third generation of Developmental States" must make fundamental changes in their characteristics and their policies.
