Abstract: 

In every part of the Zagros forests, some trees and shrubs were established, such as Quercus brantii, Pistacia sp. Acer cinerascens, Celtis australis, Platanus orientalis, Fraxinus sp, Cerasus mehaleb, etc. with different composition. Bazoft- Tangehooni, because of special site conditions, presents a unique stand of elm (Ulmus boissieri).This research was carried out to recognize the site demands of Ulmus boissieri. Statistical studies for qualitative and quantitative factors were conducted for each of plants compeletly. The systematic statistics network (40*40 meter) was used to measure trees growth and study of herbs and shrubs based on 100 m2 plots. For investigation of regeneration conditions, microplots (10 m2) were used in main plots. This stand was weak and seniority, so phyllophagous and stemborer pest were existed in the site severely.Investigation of trees growth showed that minimum, maximum and average of diameter increment were 1.5, 3.4 and 2.1 mm in year, respectively. Volume increment of the stand was 1.45 sylve per hectar. Dominant height of elm trees was determined 15.9 m.Diameter distribution showed that this stand is more or less even-aged. Number of seedlings for Ulmus boissieri and other tree species were estimated 7500 and 560 per hectar respectively. The suitable statistical model for relation between diameter and height of elm trees is calculated as: H= 0.5174 d 0.8357

Abstract: 

Of, 36 indigenous and exotic nurseries in Mehregan station and Gharb paper industries in Kermanshah province, 18 clones of poplars, demonstrating highest height and diameter as well as resistance to pests and diseases, were selected for further adaptability programs. Eight clones of populus nigra L. (with closed crown) by 3x3 meters spacing and 10 clones of exotic hybrids (open crown) by 4x4 meters spacing were studied in a randomized complete block design with three replications (25 seedlings for each replication). Variables measured include: height (m), diameter at breast height (cm), and volume calculation (m3).The results for a 7 year period evaluation indicated P. eura. 455 and P. eura. 1-214 as the highest yield/ hectare/year clones for 4x4spacing and P.n. 62.171 and P.n. 63.135 for 3x3 spacing.

Abstract: 

According to this project, we should plant 30 species and 61 provenances in each part of Asdlem forest zone, regarding to the reason that we couldn’t, plant all the species and provenances in the same time. So decided to plant them gradually and with different phases. The present article included three project at different three height zone in Gillan province. In Asalem forest at the height of lower zone 450 meter that includes Seyabil project which called No 1, 13 species and provenances have been cultivated and in the middle zone which is suitated in asalem forest in Nav project at the height of 1050 meter, 15 species and provenance have been cultivated, and in upper zone at the height of 1750 meter in Nav project in Asalem species and provenances have been 9 cultivated. In each zone projects being evaluated thought Random block method with in randomize plot in three 2metre, in each plot we used 100 repetition in a distance 2xsamples treatments in each plot. Distance between blocks and treatments are 3/5 metre. In this study some important factors like, annual survival, annual height and collar diametre in every five years being evaluated and in each treatment two side rows had been as a protector and 36 samples only in the middle parts of each plot evaluated. Abstract: 

Limitation Natural Forest in the world and increasing of needs to wood production, result has had most attention to poplars. With attention to species various of poplars, it is distributed in different climatic condition of Iran in the north Khorasan are Planted Poplars under traditional condition with species populus nigra and P. alba. for the better known of poplars variets and it development, was accomplished design of poplar experimental in the natural recourses research station of north khorasan with title collection and investigation various variets poplar. This experiment, endemic varietis include Populus nigra and P alba were collected from north area of khorasan in during two years. Non endemic varietis were provided than research center of Alborz (Karaj) that are included of following groups: P. x.euramericana (11 clones), P. nigra (15), P. deltoids (5), P. simonii (1), P. ciliata (1), P. trichocarpa (1). In final of growth season from primary year had cut all sapling, and in secondary year were investigated of sapling with age 1/2, than between total groups result, the highest of height growth increases, belong in P. alba clones. in the third year was measured of young tree with age 2/3, than the highest growth belong for P. eur., P. nigra (non endemic), P. alba (non endemic) groups, that have hot significant different in 1% level together, but had significantly differed with other groups. In the total groups have not high sensitiveness in wood pest, but leaf pest, like Chaetophorous populi and Monsteria discoidalis are established severely pollution on the P. nigra and P. alba clones respectively and have had the highest resistance P. deltoides clones. The disease melampsora populina have the most pollution on P. n 42/78 and 49/5 clones P. ciliate clone have had the most sensitiveness to frost.In the primary year, is provided cutting from all clones and they were cultivated with distance 20 cm and was interval clones 1.7 mtogether, in this experimental, the following parameters were investigated; measurement, height growth and diameter growth in different ages (1/1, 1/2, 2/3)* determination of successful percentage cutting in different date of cultivation, effect cut the base of shoot on the growth of tillers, uniformity of sapling growth and clones resistance to disease and pest. Among different groups of sapling with age (1\ 1), the highest growth are belonged to P. nigra, P. deltoides & P.x. euphraticana groups the most various percentage is registered for P. cilliata and P. deltoides groups, and lowest various percentage have to P.nigra group.
