The climate and its efficacy are important in human life. The high cost of indoors comfort using mechanical devices has increased the climate architecture role. The aim of this research is to reduce the indoors comfort cost in Aligoudarz city, Lorestan province, Iran using climatic design. In order to assess the climatic comfort in Aligoudarz city, daily climatic normal records (data) of Aligoudarz synoptic stations during a 23-year period (2009-1987) was analyzed. In this study, the daily data as 3-decimal has been used for different months, using SMADA software, with frequency distributions to estimate the return periods of 10, 20 and 50 years were calculated and represented. The results revealed that consistent with the principles of architecture, with the climate cooling equipment, there is cooling system is required. Aligoudarz is in the range of climatic comfort during the June, July, August, September, and the second and third decades of May. January, February, March, April, October, November and December in all decades and May in first decade, are outside the climatic comfort range. Therefore, to achieve comfort with observing the principles of architecture compatible with the climate, we can supply a large part of our heating needs, but the need for heating equipments is absolutely necessary.
